This was absolutely BRILLIANT!! You freaking Rock!! You could not have captured the melting of the 2 stories better..... Gawd nothing takes me back to 1986 than something like this.... 125% for the effort here.... Damn that as a masterpiece of editing.... THANK YOU!

I was a signalman on the USS San Jose homeport Guam when rumors of a Hollywood movie/documentary was being filmed on the USS Ranger spread thru the 7th fleet,, not long after the rumors faded, my ship pulled into Singapore and the movie playing was Top Gun,,,,,,,,, every man and woman serving in the US armed forces enjoyed a surge of pride watching Maverick and Goose launch off that carrier! We were there too every day real time making sure those planes got airborne! Best time of my life!

Cancer again 4 me, but top gun and goose has saved me while battling cancer....I absolutely love Tom ❤️ 😍 💖 thank you for giving me the strength to carry on....f18s are my favourite 😍 ❤️

Why in the freaking hell do I tear up everytime I see this... I need y'alls help.... maybe turning 55 this week.... Nostalgia and good memories maybe mean more and are further in between.... again, this is brilliant....I still remember driving home from the theater in the summer of 1986 after seeing this movie...I can count on my 2 hands where I have had that feeling about life...its so vivid as if it was yesterday, the scents, the conversation, the music, the feeling..... man I miss the 80's...

Lady Gaga.... the more I hear her music, the more I am convinced that she is just an incredible talent! One of the best! This song is one of her best. I don't know if I will EVER tire of listening to it!

If released in the 80's this song would have been an instant classic.

Another reminder of a couple things; 1. that Lady Gaga is a superb singer who has earned her success, and 2. that the Top Gun story did have a 2nd chapter worth telling. Plus, we finally meet the 'Admiral's daughter! :-) Oh, and I still miss the Tomcat, retired way before its time. A great fighter that if it had gotten the upgrades it had earned would easily outrun and outshoot everything out there.

It took me too long to see this but my god what an incredible movie! One of the best sequels I have ever seen including T2. How they interwove the old movie and its themes into the new one with love, loss, acceptance, accountability, just brilliant. The way they honored certain themes and the character development it was well worth the wait possibly the longest for a sequel in history. The Ariel fight choreography was insane ; people don’t realize how hard that was to do. One of the best movies I have seen in a long long time.

A song that does not need any promotion, the chords, the melodic line, the incomparable interpretation but also the film are all superlative! From the heart, a big YES!

The Film, the Music... amazing! I joined the Royal Airforce and started training when TopGun came out.... it changed everything! I remember flying over Cyprus in a hawk... memories.

I find that the more i see of Lady Gaga the more I am impressed by here singing, songwriting and even acting. I don't care for ALL her songs but I am liking more and more of them. Some of them are very, very good. I don't think that anybody likes ALL of any particular artist's songs. Just my opinion.

There are songs that will be remembered from the movies…. This is a song that describes the hole movie. Well done!

And time goes on to listen again and again to this gorgeous and extremely talented singer. Lady Gaga CAN do it!!! Such an amazing song!

This was a really well-made fan tribute to a great film franchise --- let's all hope Top Gun 3 gets made soon !!

An old warrior...watching this...don't know who you are, or why you produced this amazing mix! I feel this, as a war fighter and a lover of life...in the end I missed the hand to hold, but thank you so much for this................
