I defy any right-minded individual to deny that RL has gone anything but backwards as a spectacle. To disagree you must be either blind or not even borne. This match was just gripping from minute one to minute 85. The intricate rook plays, the depth of running; the tactical ebb and flow, a range of players of shapes/sizes all with specific roles & skill-sets. The moving parts working cohesivley to create a thing of beauty... and let's not forget the BIFF! Just incredible. The zenith of RL!

Game 2 we got to see just why the Ozzie teams have such great reputations. If memory serves me correctly the Ozzies came out and wiped their arses with the Brits. The Ozzie league team is sort of like the All Blacks in that both the AB's and Ozzies will occasionally lose a game, just as well otherwise the games get boring with no opposition fighting back and making a match out of it. Both teams will drop the occasional game but very rarely will they lose a Test Series. You beat either team, at your own peril cos they always come out firing the next test and embarrass the opposition. By the way, thanks for the channel, and keep the fine selection of games coming. I had taped most of the matches from when Videos first appeared in the early eighties but alas over the years the kids taped over them with Ready to Roll and Radio with Pictures, so I'm more than stoked you have them.

I’m prepared to say that the Davis try is the best test try of all time
