imagine the red wings play every single minute a game like they do in the final minute where they need to tie it up..
  • Man it hurts to not see this club make the playoffs they fought till the end and it showed
  • @trollalong7950
You can see the defeat in Kane's body language after that shootout goal. Hes like "Yeah we won, but it doesnt mean anything"
  • @Darule514
Felt like playoff game the crowd and commentators reactions. damn!
  • @HunterMagunter
Alot of growth from the Habs this year. Really exciting times going forward
  • @toby2352
Well, the red wings fought hard, tried their best, and it’s not easy for them to win back to back as well. Kudos to them.

To those doubting Steve Yzerman and his rebuild plan, this wings team last season had 80 points and this one had 91 points. If any wings fan at the start of the season was asked on the last day of the season for a chance at a playoff spot, they’d take it.

Man, this would have been the best come story for the playoffs. Gutted for them - Bruins Fan

From a Canucks fan I'm kind of gutted not to see Detroit in the playoffs. I have a bit of a soft spot for them (especially since they gave us Hronek and Suter lol), but they have that majestic class about them. Hopefully they get in next season.

Great to see progression. Suzuki with some key assists, Hutson looks promising, can't wait for the next prospects to get in the team in the future. The 2nd half of this season was really seeing the potential of the young guys. Signing off for 82/82 completed. Have a great season, Habs Fans, till next season, I'm out.
  • Wings shouldn’t have lost 8 in a row and the Flyers shouldn’t have lost 8 in a row either. You can’t blame anyone but yourself when you do that.
  • As a Hawks and Kane fan, I followed the Wings after Kane joined them. As a long-time Hawks fan the Wings broke my heart many a time before 2010. I wanted the Wings to make the playoffs and give that city something to cheer for again. New NHL fans do not understand how great the Wings were for many years. The city takes great pride in their hockey team and I must say they are on their way. I do feel they need more size at forward.

This team just doesn’t start playing until they’re down at least 2 goals. There’s no Reimer reason to it- but that’s Detroit for ya 🤗
  • @chrisg1556
I was cheering for you Detroit. Was really hoping the wings would make it. But it wasn't meant to be this season.
  • @LiminalMan777
As an Avs fans from the 90s I hate the Red Wings, but I respect the hell out of Stevie Y, it's so cool to see him succeed.

8:05 - this is why you should never leave your seats before the game is done
  • @Bdubsky
Thank you Detroit for securing us better draft odds sorry about the playoffs, that was almost something special
  • Unfortunate that the Red Wings missed the playoffs for the 8th year in row. I honestly have hope that Steve Yzerman will put Hockeytown back in action. They'll be back.
