Well, since my stimulus loan came in, I decided to finally buy something I had my eye on for awhile: a tool chest! I had looked at several at Lowe's, Home Depot, Harbor Freight, etc. I had also noticed this one at the local Wal-Mart. When I saw the top half was marked down, I jumped on it and grabbed the bottom the next day. If you are considering upgrading to a tool chest for your home garage, I highly recommend this one.

    Thanks for the great review - would you happen to know if your top box bulges out slightly at the level of the top shelf? Just unboxed mine and on the right hand side there is a visible bulge at the level of the shelf. On the left hand side there is a bulge that is less visible but can still clearly be felt. Just wondering if this is normal or if I may have received a defective one that I should return/replace. Thanks!

    I have a old craftsman 3 peice unit and it's time to upgrade but I dont want to dump a ton of money into it. But I'm not sold on those lifter shock things on the top lid to hold them open. Other wise I think they seem ok for the average guy and I like the black/blue look. You got miss match units.

    Do the drawers lock in place on the bottom when they close or will they open if tipped or leaning?

    I would mount a light inside with romex to back of box. Install a 1900 box with a switch and have a cord come out and plug it in

    What year Nissan Rogue do you have, I have a 2010 myself and am curious to see if this will fit in like it did yours(hopefully!)

    Seen this at Walmart tonight 550 for the top and bottom just got to figure out how to sneak it in my shop without the wife seeing it lol

    Looks EXACTLY like the husky I have. And it’s a piece of shit. So I’m sure they are made by the same company so they have the same crappy quality.
