The most confusing debut for me the visual is so good but the song feels like an album medley
  • @ShaneMorgan
Great choreo and visuals. It definitely should have been two songs. I want to talk to the producers. Just to talk. I love beginning and end. It goes hard. The cute song should have been separate on the single album.
  • @NIMISIS
The “Superhero” part should’ve been a separate song. Imagine if AD MARE was 1. Tank 2. O.O 3. Superhero 4. Tank (Inst.) 5. O.O (Inst.) 6. Superhero (Inst.)

2:12 She's Lily Jin Morrow, another Aussie Gang from JYPE. She participated in Kpop Star season 4, trained for 7 years (CMIIW) and finally debuted with NMIXX.

I'll be honest, I'm one of those fans who liked sticker on the first listen, same with next level, I'm used to the experimental sounds but this I was just ????? Like it's not that I hate the song, or absolutely love it, idk but I think every time I listen to it my brain had to digest what's going on and I think that takes away from the enjoyment of the song. Even afterwards I'm trying to figure out what just happened. Like loved the first verse and chorus, not much of a problem once I got into it, it gave sticker intro that I was confused about but got into quickly, then the second verse happened and that's where I got lost and then we transitioned back to the vibe of the first verse and that's where I kinda started to think more than listen like "what just happened". So like I'm again I don't absolutely love it, but that second verse still needs to grow on me. But talent-wise, these girls have the potential to dominate, unfortunately, I feel like starting with such a sound people still aren't accepting of fully yet, I mean lots of people hate hate this, might be a two-edged sword Its slowly growing on me tho

I have the impression that jyp wanted to try a new concept for nmixx, but it wasn't executed very well. the music itself isn't bad, but the melody changes don't intertwine and bring this feeling of mess and confusion. The issue with this comeback is very complicated, because the girls are great but the MV seems to have many parts similar to several other Kpop MVs, people are talking a lot about Ateez because it's the most evident (I swear I noticed about 5 scenes that is identical to other Ateez MVs), but there are several others that if you look at it, you can't even tell that they are different MVs. The b-side is way better than the title, and I hope they see that they screwed up on their debut and bring a worthy comeback, because they are so talented. Kisses from Brazil. 💋💋👏👏😍
  • This message of this song is literally a teaser for their next upcoming comeback like Bae said in First part. We are so excited to see what happens next. That's why these song include so many acts . Finally I understand why they interpret MV and song lyrics with perplexing style. The message that they want to give is the one and only really new style in this Generation. I luv it.
  • Their next comeback will probably explain it! There's not enough stuff here to understand the group, but the different mash-ups doesn't hook us like 'Next Level' or 'Savage' from Aespa. It feels like 3 separate songs mashed together!

This song is kind of like an experiment song, and it's really unique and cool seeing this group that just debuted being able to pull of so many concepts! Some of yall missin the beauty of it all :)
  • @widhiyudha7922
This is the first impression, and they are saying they could slay any concept whether it's dark or bright, girl crush or cute they gonna do it all. And they gonna slay. Remember this is the debut, watching them grow is gonna be exciting.
  • okay so this rlly proves the point that he doesnt even say if he dislikes something hes not even going to listen to this after LMOAOAOAO
  • @yourstzuyu4414
I LOVE IT THE WAY IT IS POP ROCK ON THE SECOND VERSE IS LIKE A BREATH OF FRESH AIR AFTER THAT HARD HITTING CONCEPT IN THE BEGINNING.
  • @whammysammi
not to be that guy but also to 100% be that guy…plagiarized ateez’s whole storyline/universe….no hate to the girls whatsoever because I know they’ve worked hard, but I genuinely hope jype catches a plagiarism lawsuit for this. a big company like this ripping off a smaller company isn’t right and should be handled accordingly.
  • i really like the song the way it is, its different, and the dance is awesome!
  • @nadhirarizky
I didn't hate this song the first time it released, it was just too weird. But now i keep playing it non stop 😂
  • First! I really like the MV and Song, confusing as hell, but the more I watched it, the more I'm hooked!

I was trying to figure out what "ad mare" means. The phrase translates to "by sea". Then I was looking up the lyrics on Genius I saw “O.O” means the exclamation “Oh!” which also is the expression someone makes when their eyes are wide open in awe (which i think we can collectively agree that's pretty much how we all reacted to this song!) On top of that they were speaking Korean, English, and Spanish!! I was too shocked to even realize that. The first line of the song was "look at that moving eye", my brain didn't even think like HELLO "eye of a ship". The eye of a ship is legit eyes paint on the front of the ship (even O.O looks like a pair of eyes!!) I'm trying to piece together what the rest of the song means. I can't figure it out yet, but now that I typed this all out the meaning behind the title and the concept they're going for is actually kind of cool. Still might take me a minute to get behind the song though.
