(Slightly Tool-Assisted) Super Mario RPG: 100 Super Jumps!

I made a save state at the 20 jump mark so that I could practice the 3 frame input window for super jumps and put in several hours of work, but... I did it! My record on actual hardware is 32, but the battery backup on my cart has gone out sadly, so... I have no proof of such a claim. still, this was done on the SNES classic Mini, obviously. used the rewind feature here because my caputre card wasn't running when I did this.

  • I love this game, but could never complete the "100 Jumps" challenge. Fantastic work!
  • Good share. I tore down the emulator code and best I can see, that three frame rule has an automatic delay since there is a mandatory delay in emulation. It's unfortunate but it may only be possible to attain 100 jumps through the save state tool. The old videos from the original hardware don't work. I got 100 jumps with practice on my old console before it died but best I managed before doing this was 27.
