“Just enough spice”- my friend takes one bite of my ramen and proceeds to cry

Add fresh garlic and kimchi, toast it a bit then add water, seasoning and noodles. Half way thru cooking the noodles, add a handful of frozen seafood mix, finish cooking noodles. Then turn the heat on high and crack an egg — let it simmer a bit and turnoff the stove and add green onions. The egg will finish cooking to a soft boil when you finish setting up. If I’m lazy, half a can of tuna as the protein and call it a day.
