We sit down with Morten Bau, Founder of Baum Guitars, and chat about the Wingman design: Why it appeals to so many different players, why it sounds like it does, and where the look came from.

Morten also discusses the much-criticized Bigsby system, which can be the best-sounding system if set up properly.

Grab a cup of coffee and let's hear what Morten has to say.

And yes, it's in Danish because we wanted to let Morten bring his perspectives and thoughts without the language barrier. It's translated for the rest of the world! ;)

THE UNPLUGGED SESSION
Our new short format is where we take a moment to unplug from all our music and put some words on the thoughts behind everything instead.

Damn, picking a color is tough but, that creamy white has a classy head turning look about it.

I really like the design and ascetics of the guitars, but I'm just not a fan of the F brand type squared off neck heal. The corner digs into the palm and limits the accessibility to higher frets if you want to hit high notes. A slightly more rounded heal would take these already amazing guitars to another level of playability. But that's just my thoughts, still I'd love to own one!

Is it 3.4kg with the bigsby? If so it's insanely light!

From the way he's holding the guitar it looks like its really neck heavy. Despite him saying its not. Does anybody have first hand experience with the wingman shape?

Actually he advertises more about defects than positives about this guitar. He is a great musician but definetely a lousy representative in this video...
