16:45 I think the implication (or assumption) is that the purple guy isn't hiding behind felt and metal, but behind fear. He's not just wearing a golden bonnie suit, he's wearing the suit he killed the children in, the last face they saw before their deaths.

On one side, you've got William who got his own kids killed by his own creations. Then on the other you got Fazbear Entertainment who literally can't make restaurants secure enough from William.

I find it funny how Matpat's interpretation of the lore is so widely accepted because N o o n e wants to subject themselves to trying to prove him right or wrong in this clusterfuck of lore

I will always love how MatPat used to use the Gravity Falls diner to represent Fredbear's.

Honestly I think this timeline is perfect, it’s simple yet covers everything important. I don’t think we need more timelines with more complicated details when this one seems to wrap everything up just fine

Mat Pat aggressively teaching one of his old theorist team members FNAF lore is something I didn’t know I needed to see.

To people wondering why fnaf storyline is weird and messed up, it is because Scott planned 3 games, not more.

You ALSO forgot to mention that after Elizabeth had been a victim of Circus Baby, William didn’t want any of his children going near her anymore. The crying child was already deathly afraid of the animatronics and William encouraged Michael to continue scaring the crying child with his masks of the animatronics. William also transmitted a high-pitched sound to the crying child’s room. It was so high it made the crying child see things. William sent the sounds to his room every night so that the crying child would think he was being attacked by horrifying animatronics, which is what we know as FNAF 4.

if i recall correctly, William said in the books that putting on the suit tricked the ghosts into thinking he was one of them. or something to that effect. so that's probably why he put the suit on in that cutscene.

Scott Cawthon is actually an insane storyteller, he somehow BSed the nightguard smelling bad in the first game into the lore

Purple guy as the phone guy was the most convincing red haring made by the community ever, had me long after everyone else had moved on.

Imagine being William Afton, building child killing machines, murdering countless children yourself, having your children killed by your own creations, scanning your soul on a computer chip, getting killed in a bunny suit (he’s not dead but I couldn’t think of another word) and chilling inside of it locked in a walled off room for 30 years just to come out and survive 2 arsons, then be perpetually tortured by a child you killed, then hacking your computer chip of a soul into a vr game and using it brainwash people into becoming the next you. What a family friendly game series.

Honestly my theory is that Henry built the puppet specifically to protect Charlotte from William. Because even though he hadn’t murdered any children yet (that we know of) surely he’d still have a bit of a creepy vibe from him. I think the reason that the puppet and Charlotte merged was because it had it’s only purpose to protect Charlotte from William destroyed. So it gives its form to Charlotte’s soul as one last attempt to save her
