Dear 404 Archives Community, THANK YOU FOR 1,000 SUBSCRIBERS. I am humbled by all of your support these past weeks on "Anti-Bullying tape". Thank you for every view, every subscription, and every comment. Thank you for your feedback so that I can grow as a storyteller and a creator. An upload for a NEW analog horror series will be coming out soon, so please stay tuned! I would also like to note a disclaimer that "Anti-Bullying tape" will not currently be developed into a series, but instead I am focusing on the narrative that I feel has more substance at the moment. I appreciate the patience and will notify when "Anti-Bullying tape" gets a spotlight again. I wish you all sweet dreams (or nightmares). - 404 Archives đŸ„€

"You're not alive" Damn, not even the ghosts are safe from bullies
  • @MintyJulep4
"Bullies can be everywhere. Be aware at all times." The bully in my walls, muffled: Hey four eyes!
  • @HorrorWorldx
Imagine if you’re getting bullied and they say “you’re not alive” đŸ‘ïž đŸ‘ïž

I'm sorry but that part at the beginning where bullying came up and everyone booed killed me I was laughing so hard
  • @VoidSpirals
The “you’re not alive” stuff is, I think, the most important thing in this video The bully saying “you’re not alive” and the video telling you not to check if you’re alive makes it seem as if you’re not the person being scared by the dead guy, you ARE the dead guy scaring the people. And the bully is just a victim.
  • My theory is that when the tape is referring to bullies, its not just someone who decides to bully others, they're actually referring to a type of entity or creature that they had nicknamed bullies, and that they take the form of any human being, similarly to alternates in TMC. The "What not to do" segment could be referring to triggers that could cause the bully to break character and possibly become hostile
  • i absolutely love this. Unlike most analogue horror, theres no jumpscares, disturbing disorted faces, nothing. A few creepy moments and it builds so much suspense that never gets released. This is what analogue horror should be

Honestly, I liked it. You don't actually feel "scared" but the tension slowly builds up as the video goes. In my personal experience, the sudden music stops and the subtle messages made me feel quite tense and I was all the time expecting some sort of jumpscare. Good job, dude!

I think literally ignoring the bullies won't cause them to get bored . Everyone doesn't take silence the same way. The way I think it is, some people, especially bullies, take it as you having nothing to counter their argument, meaning they are correct and hence encouraging them to get bolder, knowing you aren't going to do anything anyways and I believe most people know how that ends up.

i can imagine a school who doesn't know what analog horror is showing this as an actual anti-bullying presentation.
  • @h0773nkampfer
poorly made Powerpoint presentation + 90's music + VHS filter = horror
  • As an analog horror enjoyer. Well done! It implemented a lot of reality & wasn't over the top with the glitches. You did a good job
  • “bullies come in all shapes and sizes” got me wheezing Edit: HOLY CRAP 1K LIKES IN A WEEK!? Edit 2: LETS TAKE OVER THE PERSON ABOVE US AND BECOME THE MOST LIKED COMMENT!!!

This tape here was actually very good! It seems like a legit tape, no over-the-top glitches, looks like a cheesy video from the early 2000s, builds up horror in a subtle way while staying interesting at it’s core, and has a sense of humor. Although I found the ending to be underwhelming- the way I see it, there wasn’t really enough of a climax to make it truly horrifying. I don’t have any real advice to help you with this, since I’ve never done this myself (so I really don’t have a right to speak), but if you are looking to improve the ending, make sure to keep it realistic to not only the nature of the tape itself, but to reality too. The true horror comes in the everyday situations that can really happen, and while the titans like Gemini Home Entertainment, Mandela Catalogue, and of course Local 58 can pull it off, it’s because those creators know how to effectively utilize their skill and idea to create convincing horror. Not saying you shouldn’t try a supernatural type of thing with your tapes, but you have to really know what you’re doing to make it work! And by all means, I’m not saying you don’t have the skill! This tape is very well crafted and humble, in a sense. The ‘market’ for analogue horror has become saturated with all sorts of different tapes, so being someone who knows how to make a good one is really something to be proud of.

I fr was so ready for a jump scare I even had my heart rate go up just by being paranoid
  • Thanks to this I learned that: * Bullies come in all shapes and sizes. * I shouldn't repeat in front of bullies (whatever that means). * Bullies are everywhere, including Walmart, my grandma's house and the Federal Correctional Institution Fort Dix in New Jersey. * I am not alive.
