"Money Doesn't Buy Happiness" is a Flawed Statement

"I've seen many interpretations and criticisms of "money doesn't buy happiness," and it really comes down to "what is the context for happiness?" Is happiness "the absence of suffering due to not having necessities," or "novelties that bring pleasure," or "having love and fulfillment?" There are probably other forms of "happiness" that I'm neglecting, but these are the main types of happiness I see people talking about with this saying.
