Tommy was incredible. His playing on Billy Cobhams album 'Spectrum' is mind blowing.

Drugs are EVIL!

Come taste the band was a superb album but I can understand why most Purple fans can't stand it. It went totally against the grain of their previous work with its rock/funk vibe

We bought the zephyr album when it came out!!! My goodness what a killer album!! Love you Tommy!! RIP 🪦
-
Bolin had almost unlimited potential. If he had only taken better care of himself.....

Went to see Jeff Beck @ the Curtis Hixon in St. Pete Fl. on Dec. 5th. hoping to see Tommy Bolin opening up for him. Jan hammer and the rest of Jeff Beck's Group opened up instead:(

What a shameall that wonderful talent gone to waste due to substance abuse another great musician gone to addiction

What a fantastic video have a wonderful weekend ❤😊

Never heard his name though must have heard his music. Such a pitty he didn't have the right people around him to help him with his problems, he had some tips and warnings but I mean family and professionals to talk some sense in a troubled yet very talented mind.

En extremt bra musiker. Hans mor är från Sverige som jag själv. Någon som vet var någonstans från Sverige hon är uppväxt ❤❤❤❤❤❤

Spectrum continues to be regarded as the best jazz fusion album ever recorded. Very much due to Tommy Bolin.

I used to see Tommy, and singer, Candy Givens, with their band, Zephyr in Boulder. Tommy loved his Echoplex!
