    Come taste the band was a superb album but I can understand why most Purple fans can't stand it. It went totally against the grain of their previous work with its rock/funk vibe

  • Went to see Jeff Beck @ the Curtis Hixon in St. Pete Fl. on Dec. 5th. hoping to see Tommy Bolin opening up for him. Jan hammer and the rest of Jeff Beck's Group opened up instead:(

    Never heard his name though must have heard his music. Such a pitty he didn't have the right people around him to help him with his problems, he had some tips and warnings but I mean family and professionals to talk some sense in a troubled yet very talented mind.
