While Pokemon games are naturally filled with tons of the Pokemon themselves, there are also some Pokemon that are mentioned within the games that we never get to see! These secret Pokemon are mentioned in various ways, but to this point, we’ve never have gotten a chance to see them for ourselves, and in this video, I’m going to be covering some of these secret Pokemon that we’ve only ever heard about so far, and try to shine a little more light on them!

There’s actually something INCREDIBLY interesting about a possible new form for Celesteela. Look at the logo for legends ZA, look familiar? What if Celesteela is going to play the role of the antagonist with some crazy new form, maybe it will be expanded upon and recontextualize to be something entirely new, it’s just incredibly interesting in my opinion, and raises a lot of fun questions.

Regarding Cetoddle and Paradox Pokemon, it has been revealed via the secret ending in Pokemon SV DLC with the real professor (Turo/Sada) that the Paradox Pokemon are coming from different timelines. So this Dex entry for Cetoddle can't refer to a Paradox version of it since the Paradox Pokemon aren't actually from the same world as the main Pokemon world, which means that it has to be an ancient Regional form in the same vein as Pokemon Legends Arceus.

Couldn't the last one where you're looking at the PC. Couldn't that just be referring to the ultra-beasts? Unless you don't see that until post-game.

The new celesteela form might be the "A" legend of Legends ZA. Celesteela looks like the ultimate weapon and shaped like the letter A. Code name: Blaster (like the ultimate weapon).

Mega Jinx is an all-around quite weird one. Since wasn’t the intention originally to keep Jinx in the same vein as Electabuzz and Magmar? (Getting prevos and evos at the same time, etc.) I’d’ve thought if they wanted to rehabilitate Jinx it’d be in that similar vein but those two don’t have megas and it doesn’t sound like an evolution. I’m a fan of Jinx being revisited but kinda wish they’d go back to that trio

The Dex entry to me suggests that Cetoddle is a variant of Wailmer kind of like how Wigglet is a variant if Digglet, at least that's the way i interpreted it. I think it's meant to mean that a aubset of Wailmer evolved over time and started living on land and eventually became what we know as Cetoddle
  • The Pokemon in the PC could be Grapploct or Clobbopus, as the fit both of Kukui's interests (aquariums and wrestling)

For the last one, the Sun and Moon protagonist saw Porygon 3.

I have a thought about unanswered questions. In the Indigo Disk DLC. When talking to the head of the school, you find out that the Blueberry academy is "attached to an undersea plant that develops natural resources." To my knowledge, this is never talked about again. I was expecting it to be part of the story but nothing. Yet another plant in pokemon that seems to have significance but never discussed.

The ancient Cetoddle would not be a paradox Pokemon because it would come from our universe and our past, it would just be an ancient Pokemon. It is basically confirmed in the cutscene with the professor in Kitakami that they come from an alternate timeline and universe, meaning that the paradox is that they exist in our universe when they shouldn't. You wouldn't call Aerodactyl a paradox Pokemon.

1:53 I have known about this one for years! Maybe for all these years, they have been saving it for a new game with Megas coming back, and Pokemon Legends: Z-A is that game! Fingers crossed!
  • Don’t forget about the alleged dogs that were trapped in a fire and tuned into legendary Pokémon by ho-oh, we don’t know if they were the eeveelutions or not as far as I know
  • 7:58 The same generation says that Yungoos isn't native to the Alola region and was brought over from a region we haven't seen yet. This alongside Copperajah an Indian elephant and Quaxly, who's final stage is a peacock, seems to suggest there is an India or southeast Asia based region that exists somewhere in the Pokémon world.
  • @robbymanable
Maybe we’ll get a regional variant of Cetottle one day
  • @cofagrigusfan24
why do you call out a Paradox Cetoddle as an ancient version? we know that the Paradox Pokémon aren't from the same timeline a Cetoddle ancestor would be quite different from a Paradox Cetoddle
  • The jynx deal was probably them backing out on releasing it because she use to be controversial. And fun fact celesteela is my least fav of all pkmn because it reminds me of a miserable fever dream I had as a child. Cetitian is my fav gen 9 pkmn
