Now that we are aware of the 5.0's banners, let's examine in this video who the 5.1 banners will feature.

Let's review the 5.1 banners before talking on the 5.0 banners. The most recent information is that Kinich and Raiden Shogun will be in the second phase of 5.0, while Mualani and Kazuha will be in the first.

The new characters will be reviewed first.

It was hinted for a while that we would see a tall Geo female character in 5.1, even before any Natlan trailers. It's Xilonen, as you may have already surmised. Given that she has the Leopard Spirit state in her kit, she is supposedly a meta support character in Natlan. Although the nature of this state is unknown, it's been suggested that she could change into a leopard or something like. And let's see how it goes with dash mechanics in her burst. She's my second favorite character from Natlan, I believe, which is why I'm so enthusiastic about her.

Chasca will be a new character in 5.1 as well. She has a bow and is Cryo based on what we can see in the teaser. We'll have to wait for more information as there isn't any available at this time regarding her kit.

I failed to clarify that they are both five-star characters.

It's time for the Archon rerun.

A brief note: Archon marathons are Archon reruns that often happen one after another at the beginning of a new region. Thus, the presence of Raiden Shogun in 5.0 implies a potential Archon rerun in 5.1.

Zhongli was included in 3.0 and 4.0 of earlier patches like Sumeru and Fontaine, and Venti was included in 3.1 and 4.1. Nevertheless, Mihoyo appears to be altering this pattern now that Raiden Shogun is in version 5.0. These two will, in my opinion, be rerun during the Natlan arc near the conclusion of the Archon marathon, with version 5.1 most likely starring Nahida or Furina.

Nahida's chances of coming back are higher because Furina recently had a rerun, although Furina might very well appear in 5.1 as well.

No Archon repeat is anticipated in version 5.2 as Mavuika, the upcoming Archon, will most likely be introduced. She isn't an Archon, according to recent lore, but she will probably release in the same manner.

Finally, we have the rerun banner.

I sincerely hope that Rio or Shenhe will be replayed. I strongly suspect that neither Rio nor Shenhe will recur in 5.1, even though they both ought to have in the Fontaine arc or at the very least in the 5.0 update. The upcoming Lantern Rite may see Shenhe and Ganyu rerun, while 5.1 may include Kokomi or Tartaglia.

As you can see, there are still characters that haven't appeared in reruns. This problem was meant to be resolved by the Chronicled Wish in 4.5, but Mihoyo only showed it once and then seemed to forget about it. Therefore, I continue to believe that it would be wise to add a third banner. Although I am aware that some people may disagree with the use of weapon banners, I don't think it's a major issue. To keep the same method as with two banners, Mihoyo may just add a selection where you can select two of the three weapons in the banner.

In summary, there will be two new characters: Xilonen and Chasca; Nahida will probably be in the Archon rerun; and there will be a rerun of either Kokomi or Tartaglia.
