I don't cry when famous people die. I had a lump in my throat and tears in my eyes for months after Jeff Beck passed away. What a great artist in every possible way.

Do you ever get tired listening to the Maestro ? No, I don't. Thank you so much for accompanying my life with you virtuosity and brilliance. RIP Jeff.

A man who found notes on a guitar that nobody else could find one of the most extraordinary guitars ever. RIP JEFF😪🎸✌️
  • I think Jeff preference to playing the strat is what makes him a wizard as he makes that guitar cry, weep, scream like no other player to date . Amazing

Holy shit. What a band! There are guitar gods and then there's Jeff Beck! Those sounds, no pedal board in sight. His musical choices and sonics are phenomenal. Knocking down and carrying a solid fusion, rock, blues set for 90 min. is insane; what can this guy not do. We are all blessed to have experienced his artistry. I can't help but just love him.
  • This show has been in prime rotation for me for 24 years (and of course JB Live with the JHG). A constellation of absolutely killer line-ups in his career....but this one could be an apex. One thing for certain Jeff is at the absolute top of his game here and makes a great GOAT case....farewell Dear Jeff and thank you so much!

jeff happens to you when you are ready for it. i had trouble digesting him for two decades. now i can't listen to anyone else. if you are an electric guitar player, you will find that with practice and commitment, you will ultimately come sit at his feet. it's about expression. i cry when i listen to him, no other (guitar) player does that to me. you have to develop the emotional SPACE within yourself to let him in. i totally understand what you are saying, and you are not alone.

ahhh... the brilliant Jennifer Batten - saw this tour in San Diego - near the front row. She holds her own very well, especially considering she's on stage with one of the greatest guitarists on the planet. Bravo

IT IS NOT OFTEN THAT THE DRUMS (STEVE ALEXANDER) and BASS (RANDY HOPE DAVIES) and SECOND GUITAR ( JENNIFER BATTEN)can show what they can do, together with JEFF BECK WHO SHOWS HIS RESPECT FOR ALL OF THEM. THIS IS WHAT JEFF DID TIME AND AGAIN. There is so much of this concert that I love. It has Science Fiction feel, and MAGIC or "out of this world" FEEL to it, Blue Wind. I think I like this concert so much that IT IS THERE RIGHT AT THE TOP.! There is humour as well! Love to you all and I adore you all!!! We did not know this at school where we met Jeff aged 14, who came in half way through the year, when we were most aged 13, at Sutton East School, in Surrey. He once came in with a load of wires and bits of wood, and went straight to the storeroom just after lunch, and he sat on the floor. He was a new comer, and we all watched what he was going to do. The boys who knew him best and were the only ones who spoke to him passed down the message to the rest of the class, that Jeff was trying to making a guitar. I though to myself, with that lot, he will have a big problem, but somehow some blues notes came out of that store cupboard. To this day I do not know how that happened! When I left school I would sometimes see him in the distance near the Cinema and bus stop. I am sure that the class all did what I did- we watched the news to see if his name would pop up. Of course it did as he became a member of the Yardbirds. However he did go on and become world famous. He stayed true to himself. His mother was a trained pianist and his father &/or uncle played jazz. I understood, because my mother was also a trained concert pianist and also a Jazz pianist who played professionally. I watched out for news of Jeff and gradually he appeared more and more, eventually showing himself in the Yardbirds, and then going on to do wonderful things with Beck Bogart and Appice. He was always going to be different. I have been catching up on YouTube, to whom I am very grateful. This music is what Jeff Beck is about;- at this time a youthful 64 years of age; a wonderful and fantastic guitar player, arranger and composer with touches of modern music and invention all of his own, and helped with fellow players of fantastic standard, like Jennifer Batten: Steve Alexander and Randy Hope Davies. The UK missed out on a lot. THANKYOU JEFF BECK AND CO!!! Cynthia Allen McLaglen
  • @GBCR
The amazing Jeff Beck. He can do anything - even make a Beatles song sound good!
  • An hour and a half of nothing but extraordinaire, nothing but guitar work, who else could do this…no one!!! At this time after 4 decades…WOW!!!
  • @dolly5279
Oh Jeff Beck! I am so proud of what you have achieved! This is the best I have heard from you and such a very large range!! Such serious music! You reached up so far into heavenly sounds, with music, different from any other; and have touched space and the stars! Your parents must be so very proud. I wonder if they can hear you in heaven? This concert is so packed full and you have such wonderful players with you such as Jennifer Batten, and many more. Wonderful drummer!!!! Thank you Jeff. You really got there, and then some!! A very great player indeed! Cynthia Allen -McLaglen

Brush with the blues just great. Jeff in a great mood this evening. He gets everything out of his guitar ... Another level, another cosmos. Thank you, Jeff, for so much trouble !!!
  • @billthecat2410
Jeff Beck is one crazy SOB, saw one of his concerts long go and loved every min. While all the others seem to fade away Beck keeps on going. And seems to get better and better. I wish I could play the Guitar half as good as he can and I'd be happy with that.
  • @FL-BEACH-MAN
Jeff is not only a Guitarist , he is an Artist - some people would say - "oh he is up there on stage just jammin' "- it is a lot more than that - The grace - feeling - style - sounds he produces and love of what he does just pours out with every note.I started playing at 12 - I'm 61 now - Jeff is just one of about 15 guitarist i even  care to listen to - otherwise I'm playing my guitars.
  • @wjhandy
You notice from the start that when Jeff comes in on the first song it immediately goes from machine to soul within a millisecond.
  • @julkitan3017
4 top musicians on stage and Jeff is the charismatic leader... he knows how to use the whammy bar of his stratocaster! Inspiring!
  • @artnmusic909
Jeff Beck is regarded by many as the ultimate guitarist; this concert is one of the many reasons why: indescribable.
