Even though I never really understood why a lot of these Disney villain sidekicks seemed to admire their bosses so much, It was definitely impressive to see how loyal they were despite the villains always treating them like trash and stereotypical underlings.

Smee is probably the only reason Cap'n Hook hasn't gone crazy with fear. Man keeps him calm, helps him relax, and even tells off Tick Tock to leave the captain alone. He just wants to be good for his captain :)
