How come this vid doesn't touch on the fact that he was prior injured in his 2007 deployment in Iraq He had a traumatic brain injury, which resulted in short and long term memory loss, balance issues, speech, and hearing issues. And After 2 years of therapy he was able to stay in the Marines and realist. Just to get Blown up again. This dude is one hell of a survivor.
-
Just the fact that he is able to MOVE someone elseās limb on his own body is a milestone within itself. He is a part of medical history.
-
Not only the arms... But... He lost 3 limbs instantly, the other one was degloved, but his eyes are intact and he can still hear?! That's just wild.
-
It is extraordinary to me that he can do a pull up and his arms donāt just rip off. This is absolutely crazy that this is possible
-
I've never been more grateful for my limbs. Fuck, this man is so strong.
-
What's with the rude comments saying they look like girls hands. Who cares if they were female or male. He has arms again and I'm sure he is very thankful.
-
"I'm a blast to be around" that's hilarious. He's a legend. I have crohns, have daily pain, to the point of being in the bathroom 2 - 3 times per week for over 2 hours. But I still push through, and this guy is a total hero. He deserves nothing but happiness. Night 1 after surgery, I too felt pain like never before, and I just had a resection (losing 120cm of intestines) so he's a brave guy.
-
I get frustrated waiting for an amazon prime package. This hero waited for arms. We all take everything for granted.
-
It's so sad how his previous wife left him, those wedding vows of "until death do us part" means nothing after all.
-
From begging doctors to just ālet him dieā, to begging them to keep him alive. Iām so glad he found his purpose to live.
-
He can move and feel someone else's arms. That alone is absolutely freaking amazing and I'm so grateful that he has that.
-
What a blessing to find a wife that has demonstrated 100% unconditional love and support to him.
-
āFor the first time in years he felt a raindrop on his hand.ā That really got me.š„ŗš§

Love his optimism at 31:40 "You won't be able to feel the difference between buttons on a remote" 'You're telling me I'll be able to hold a remote!'

After a truck, accident My wife also left me about 10 months after the accident pretty hard to deal with but the good news is we are both still alive and Iām so fascinated that you had the operation to replace both arms keep up the good work brother God bless you Cliff from Logan City Queensland, Australia š¦šŗ

My dad had a liver transplant. It gave me 7 more years with him. Itās an amazing miracle
-
"I'm not a hero, Just incredibly good at finding IED's in the worst way possible"
-
This guy isn't a hero for getting injured, he's a hero for surviving and thriving and everything he's done afterwards.

All of a sudden, being a divorced, homeless, truck driver doesnāt seem so bad. Very inspirational ā¤
