May the merciful God protect our Geronda by the prayers of Panagia, and by Geronda’s prayers illumine us to repentance.

Even though I'm not from GOC, but from Serbian Orthodox Church, i have to say that i love this channel. I love your voice father, and topics are amazing. Thank you very much! In Christ +
  • His Eminence has such a calming voice. I really needed this sermon and with Christs help will crucify my mind.
  • Evlogeite. Please anyone listening and reading pray for each other that this Great Week and Pascha be as spiritually beneficial and strengthening for as many of us as possible. Saint Xenia of Saint Petersburg please pray for my family, my neighbors, and myself.

Holy Teaching ✝️🌟thank you May God guide all believers in Christ the right path
  • " 17:04 Action in virtue leads to divine vision which shall not be taken away from her". Very well put.

Indeed there’s a disconnection. Unfortunately none of the Orthodox I know and am related to are merciful and forgiving. They go to church with their new haircuts and shiny shoes this Holy Week without understanding that the person standing next to them is in pain.

Thank you for this sermon and the many other ones you post: they help me so much! Glory to God, may we always hear these and let your words dig deep into our hearts

Excellent points, Father. Plus, Idolatry is ANYTHING we put before Christ. Is Christ in our Presence? That's our checking point. If He is not Present, chances are, the demons are... The Power of the name of Jesus said aloud keeps them away.

"Virtue of action and divine vision of contemplation." 15:07 Lord, raise up the Lazarus that is within us! 🙏
  • Thank you Despota for your love and concern for our souls. The truth you speak of us being in danger of losing our souls, is so scary that I pray everyday for the help from my guardian angel to help me to remember all my sins, so I can repent and confess them. Time really is running out ! May our God continue His blessings upon our beloved Bishop Demetrius.

Esteemed Father, thank you for the words of wisdom so generously offered in times of trouble. Your words are a medicine for us who are in trouble and through them you gave us hope that there will be light at the end of the tunnel. Nothing is possible without HIM and in the end even the worst sinners will understand this truth.
