Modest and rather spartan, the luxury of that pool was the simple fact that it was there at all. The Olympic and Titanic had the first shipboard swimming pools. Adriatic had a smaller "plunge bath" that somewhat "tested the waters" before going to a full pool. The German competition the following year would start the truly spectacular pools.

The water looks like it is frozen on the surface. It's so shiny glossy and rippled on the surface that it looks like you can ice skate on it.

I know it wouldn't make sense but I wish they would build a replica. Same engines and boilers.
