Hello friends, this time I restored an antique Optimus that was made in 1915. The external condition of this Optimus was very hot and the upper part was covered with dandruff. I completely restored it and since the parts of this device are very difficult to obtain, I could not get a new tripod for it and make a tripod for it and from the part I used a picnic capsule burner for the flame. I used this Primus. I hope you enjoy watching this video. Thank you for watching.

Ah! This burner brings my good old memory. Back in 70's I used to own one ogf same one for my rock climbing camp. It was so expensive and my friends envy me owning it. Thanks for the memory.
  • This is exactly what I grew up with, had to go to the shop to get the leather washer when it runs out. The top looked different and the flame was spreading away from the center, if I remember right. A good one, gave us a lot of easiness from having to burn wood. Thank you for the memories.
  • Wonderful work! I advise everyone to watch the work of the master! Interesting and fascinating! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

  • My family used these on our camping holidays. The ring that you use to preheat was normally filled with alcohol and kerosene for the fuel. Our camping cooker was made in 60s and no real change.
  • Good job but this model is silent burner there are two pieces missing it's place over the burner to control the fire and make it silent
