Michael Jackson's snarl and vocal agility are in top form in this often overlooked masterpiece of arranging and passionate performances.

They Don't Care About Us was only performed live once as a medley with Scream and In The Closet and the Brazilian video and rendition has over 1 billion plays on YouTube... !!! Talk about some IMPACT!!

I hope yo enjoy diving into the studio multitracks from the original studio recording with me. MJ's vocals are REALLY hot here! You can hear his range of distortion techniques better in these tracks than you can in many of them. Let's dig in!

  • Isolated Michael tracks are always so profound. You feel like you're in the room with him and seeing him stomp as he records. He was just an absolute master of his craft.
  • MJ was a genius, he was rythmn itself. One of my fave songs of his because of all the percussive sounds.
  • He was seriously the most talented performer of all time ❤🎉
  • Nothings better than watching Chris get excited about Michael beatboxing! Haha great video ! excited for the new batch of MJ tracks to come!
  • Michael's songs don't have gaps. There is so much going on. The way he creates sounds with instruments, his voice and body is beyond perception. I always felt it would be so amazing to have Michael played unplugged session/concert transmitted all over the world. He would be amazing. Thank you for your videos - great job! 🎶🍃
  • I love your genuine admiration for the greatest to ever do it
  • 19:25 My favourite part of this song, i love when he goes ad lib mode also his grit is insane, such a stark contrast from his soft and light voice hes usually known for. whats interesting is that you can hear him singing with grit all the way back to when he was still a child on some of the jackson 5 songs.

I think this is one of my personal favorites from Michael. He puts so much effort into every piece, but this one in particular really shows how he was feeling in a bad spot in his career. Much love to you Chris for discussing and dissecting this piece! ❤️
  • It's cool to hear all the tracks individually. I love the fact that you can hear Micheal's anger and frustration in his voice. The way he sings makes you feel confined and uneasy. He was a Master at conveying emotion with his whole body while singing. I grew up listening to Michael Jacskon in the 80's and still listen to him. Take care Chris💕

I love this ~ remarkable ❤️ I was such a hugh fan of MJ even today. Thank you for taking your time to break this down ~ Love it🫶
  • It should also be noted that MJ got solo writing credits and solo production credits for this song.
  • Michael always amazing in his creations! Congratulations on the video!
  • 16:19 totally agree... That line lives in my head rent free. It's crazy, this man's rhythmic breathing technique is better than most singers' careers. Rolling Stone totally disrespected him with that list.
  • @LennoNg01

  • He was special. He wrote, Composed, Produced this himself at his house
  • @colemanel4828
He put a lot of emotions into this song. Andre Crouch's choir is singing the chorus.
  • I love how you show MJ true talent.. And for every raw tape, you hear and understand his talent ❤️. Thank your work.
  • “WE’RE DEEP IN THE FIREEEEEE, IM HERE TO REMIND YOUUUU” Best part of the song 😭
