Video description: A corvette is a small warship with a powerful engine. It is the smallest class of vessel historically called a proper warship. The frigate is the warship class above the corvette, while the sloop-of-war was traditionally the class below. Coastal patrol craft, missile boats, and fast attack craft are examples of modern ships below a corvette. In today's words, a corvette is typically between 500 tons and 2,000 tons, although recent designs may approach 3,000 tons, which might instead be considered a small frigate. Many countries today operate corvettes; some include Argentina,Bangladesh, Brazil, Bulgaria, China, Germany, Egypt, India, Indonesia, Iran, Israel, Italy, Norway, Pakistan, the Philippines, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Singapore, South Korea, Sweden, Malaysia, Turkey, and United Arab Emirates. Countries that border smaller seas, such as the Baltic Sea or the Persian Gulf, are more likely to build the smaller and more manoeuvrable corvettes, with Russia operating the most corvettes in the world. Today the Buzz presents the top 10 most powerful corvettes in the world today.
Enjoy watching. Cheers!

Love to see the K130 Braunschweig Class so high up the list. I really like the ship and actually built it with functional armament in Minecraft.

You put some FAC vessels in the list and at the same time one of the best corvet class GOWIND missing .
  • @fred972levrai
Surprised not to find the Gowind 2500 corvette here.

The Kamorta Clas "Corvette", is an interesting one. The Indian Navy wanted a a ship, small and armed like a Corvette, but have enough Endurance to travel far off with the Carrier Battle Group as its dedicated ASW ship. It can be easily turned into a Frigate, but that would sacrifice its endurance .

You forgot about the 1963 Corvette Stingray Split Window Coupe. It has a 327ci V8 with optional fuel injection making 360 horsepower with a 0-60 in under 5 seconds. I'm sure it can easily beat any of these other Corvettes in the quarter mile.

Correction; MILGEM is not a class, it stands for "Milli Gemi" which means indigenous ship and class of them are called as 'ADA'.

You forgot to put Taiwan's Tuo Chiang class stealth corvette into the list. It can fire 8 mach 3 Hsiung Feng III Supersonic antiship cruise missiles with a range of 400 kilometers and 8 Hsiung Feng II subsonic antiship cruise missiles that can hit a target 275 kilometers away, and can go up to 83 km/hr. They can sink a Chinese Carrier on its own. We currently have three and plan to get over ten by 2026
