Nice pick ups and gifts 👍. Subscribed to Sam's channel
  • Lots of interesting films there, Roy. I do know about Buster is that Phil Collins recorded two songs for the film - ‘Groovy Kind of Love’ (cover) and ‘Two Hearts’ which he co-wrote with Lamont Dozier who was involved with Motown in the 1960s and 1970s. Neither of the songs turned up on his 1989 album, …But Seriously.
  • Tine machine is a favourite film of mine rod Taylor performance is fantastic 😍

Some good pickups there Roy. I quite like Buster; but i know it gets mixed reviews. We were having a discussion on a recent livestream about it; and someone pointed out the rather sanitized way the violence was treated. I think i enjoyed the period setting and music more than anything. I much prefer Robbery[1967]; even though it's a fictionalized account. The Return of a Man Called Horse[1976] is the sequel to the 1970 original. Personally i preferred the sequel; was a bit difficult to get hold of - think i got a French edition. It also has a sequel - Triumphs of a Man Called Horse[1983]; which i got on a bootleg DVD - but imo, it's not up to much.👍
  • Cheers for shoutout ah you ended up with wizard of Oz 4k Blu-ray 👍🏻😅it's a fantastic transfer black and white to colour will blow you away !!! 👍🏻🎥😍

Hi Roy, it’s strange but I regard The Wizard Of Oz as a Christmas film too as it was always shown around December 25th through the 70’s and your the only other person I’ve seen confirm what I’ve been saying about its link to Christmas 😄 (yeah it’s a big bird and not a hanging Munchkin 🧐) good old Larry comes through for you again, Triple Cross is a great film, I talked about this last year… as soon as I saw The Time Machine, I knew you wanted the slip to go along with it 😬 I will keep an eye out for one 👀 take care Roy 👍😃👍
  • I loved The Worst Person in the World. It’s the third of Trier’s Oslo trilogy but you can enjoy without having seen the others….I have a set of original press stills for Triple Cross, which I have shown before….Stuart will be pleased with you getting the Time Machine
  • @MovieMad1
Yep I honestly thought your ordered The Time Machine
  • Absolutely awesome video Roy 🤩🍿🙌🎸🎶 Thanks so much for the lovely kind words there my friend; it really means a million; I can say the same about your dear self man; you got a superb channel and great vast knowledge of film too; keep up the brill work as always 😀 Love your sense of humour and wittiness on these videos mate 😂 Hope you love ‘The Worst Person In The World’ btw Roy; definitely in my Top 3 MUBI titles; I need to check out more of that Director’s work aswell; he did that trilogy on the same label which probably be worth me seeking out 😊👍 ‘The Wizard Of Oz’ is an all time classic; looked beautiful on 4K ❤️ I’m sure John & Nige will be very pleased you added ‘The Burning’ to your collection; only seen it the once; but it’s fantastic mate; way overdue a rewatch?! Hope you having a marvellous week Roy and let’s hope it’s coming home tonight 🤩🙌🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿⚽️🦁🍿🎸🎶

Hi Roy, some great films there buddy, I have The Wizard of Oz on Blu-ray but would be interested in your thoughts regarding the 4K. Triple Cross is a great film, watched that recently, again let me know what you think regarding the Blu as i have read mixed things about it.. The Time machine is a classic and one i need to get, The Burning is a great Slasher film and one that deserved a franchise. Thanks mate.
