Uttarakhand forests are burning...people are dying....cuz the forest dept. has abandoned traditional practice of fire lining. 😓😓😓
  • I´m following your channel since quite a time now, today watching your beautiful video about the majesttic Arunachala and his reforestation made my day... all the people that started in the eighties to bring back the green and the wildlife to Arunachala are heroes, from the first to the last people working there...thanks to this heroes we can enjoy Arunachala, not only in our hearts but also with our senses...Om Arunachaleshwara Namaha!

Some forest fires are also essential to the ecosystem , totally trying to avoid forest fires all together can be detrimental in due course of time . Outbreaks of very large scale forest fires in australia and California have been caused to some extent due to absence / prevention of the small scale fires by organisations . Fire break lines created by small fires are very essential for preventing large fire outbreaks
  • If you can plant Aloevera saplings at the juncture of fire line , it will self populate itself, make a barrier that can not be crossed by fire as aloevera is 90-95 percent water , it’s easy to grow and drought tolerant
