I love that he called ultra-processed foods human pet food, or human chow.

I recently cut out all sugar and carbs (except vegetables like sweet potato and lentils. 2 meals a day, mostly meat. Not only lost 40 pounds but my brain fog and 3pm crash are gone. My mood is far better. Honestly I feel super human
  • I just hit 13 months carnivore and it has changed my life! i started at north of 715lbs i was stuck in the house for over 2 years and i was on home oxygen 24/7. i had congestive heart failure, reactive airway disease, depression, anxiety, lymphedema, and many other issues. ive lost 262lbs so far, i have my mobility back, im off oxygen, and off all meds, my depression and anxiety is completely gone. everything has healed and is either 95% to 100% healed! A literal answer to prayer ! i love hearing people changing their lives with carnivore too. Keep up the great work!
  • It’s not almost sinister, Shawn, it is sinister and criminal! Thanks to you and Ken Berry, Eric Westman and others. I have been carnivore for over five years. I am 78 and on no meds.😊🙏
  • I went to pharmacy school, and my professor was kool and low key told me that 80% of hospitalized patients were sick mainly due to nutrition...🤔.🤔🤔

when you drink coca cola it makes you more hungry. when you eat junk foods it makes you hungrier for junk foods. break the addictions folks.

I cut processed foods, sugar, pasta, seed oils, and only omad (one meal a day). I have lost 120 pounds. I was 309 when I started.I feel so much better now. I have mobility and clarity again. Thank you for spreading the message. I tell everyone who I think needs to hear this.
  • I do love how he mentioned economically how much money is tied into food companies and the pharmaceutical companies.

A few years ago, I was borderline diabetic and I asked my doctor to give me a diet to help bring down my A1C. She told me, I could do that, but what you really need to do is quit eating out and cook whole foods at home and leave the processed foods alone. She said if it comes in a box it's processed. Just go to the store and buy raw meats, vegetables and fruits and cook your meals with that. I did what I was told, I lost about 8 lbs, but I wasn't obese before, and after about 6 months I went back to the doctor for my blood tests and I was no longer within the pre-diabetic range.

It is a pretty wild concept that every single cell in your body is made from food. The question is: are your cells sponsored by McDonald's or the natural world?

Type 2 here. 6 weeks into carnivore and my diabetes went in the first 2 weeks. I feel fantastic.

My maternal grandmother’s family was apart of a long term study in Roseto, PA in the 60s where they looked at why heart disease was so low in the area. A quick google search about the Roseto Effect will tell you that it has to do with family ties and being close to your family (which I do agree with), but having read through the original article and talking to my grandmother about it, the fact that they ate homemade pretty much everything is always left out of google’s answers. Homemade pasta, homemade sauce, homemade wine, self raised chickens and locally farmed hogs and cattle. There were little to no preservatives in their diet and it showed in their heart and overall health.

It's funny that he mentions Brazil at the end. My wife is Brazilian and last year I went there for the first time to visit her family. I was absolutely astounded by how much better the food is in Brazil than in America. I've never eaten better in my life, nor eaten more, I never felt stuffed, never felt the need to snack, just ate large meals and felt amazing
  • Over 8 years now I've been eating very low carb/high fat/high protein. Reversed T2 Diabetes, HB Pressure, Arthritis, and lost 75 pounds, I did that all in the first few months. For over 8 years now since I changed what I eat, I have never been sick. When on the Standard American Diet before that I was sick regularly. Not one single virus since I changed my diet. I'm 60, look 40, and feel like I'm 30.
  • In 14 months, the carnivore diet, completely healed me of chronic migraines and fatigue, and I was almost bedbound for the last two years I am now working and thriving!!!❤🙌🏻💯🥩🇨🇦
  • The most EYE-OPENING moment in my life was when I began to follow the ketogenic diet. I have moved beyond that, but the most IMPORTANT thing it taught me was how much SUGAR I was ingesting without realizing it! Sugar is in EVERYTHING, and it makes you hungry so you go eat more of what they are selling. Or at least it does me! Start looking at labels, people. The amount of sugar you are ingesting will SHOCK you!

I'm all for the "avoid seed oils" talk because people would have to avoid 100% of the ultraprocessed foods.

Dr. Baker is my real life hero. I purchased his book, studied the diet and it was the best decision of my life. I started in March of 2022 when I was over 370lbs and horribly depressed with my life. Fast forward to today and I am 255lbs with perfect blodwork, no high cholesterol anymore, no depression, no energy crashes and no more body pain throughout the day. I also actually really enjoy working out. I owe my life to that change. I am very grateful for Dr. Baker.
  • Thanks Joe and Shawn Keep up the great work pushing the truth and making people aware… I stopped eating processed food, carbs and sugar… 18 months ago. I’m 5’ 8. I was 185 now a solid 160. I was on acid reflux meds for 25 years. With in one week of eating meat with some veggies my acid reflux went away. No acid reflux for 18 months. Blood pressure and cholesterol numbers are perfect… I could go on with many more positives … I feel great. I just turned 60
