  • As a TMNT fan, just to be able to play as Krang’s suit would be worth getting the game. It was really fascinating to learn about how the supply and demand of this game has made it a collector’s item.

I preordered this game and still have it for PS4. Over all I like it, I don't think it is as bad as most people say. If you are a TMNT fan and love beat'em up games, you will probably like this. I give it an 8 out of 10.

Tbh I actually enjoyed this game I loved the combat, boss fights, the fact that each character has their own unique abilities I mostly used super shuriken cuz of how much damage it did on bosses and I love the voice acting for this game
  • Mutants in Manhattan was that kind of hack n' slash that seemed like some of the elements were inspired by the beat'em'ups of the past. Not only were the moves and combos flashy, but special moves would change a character's outline color, sometimes even flashing in rainbows. If you stayed too long in an area before triggering the next generated mission, there would be an event that would trigger for you and keep the pace moving along. All in all, the game felt very arcade-like in its presentation. The simplistic style and replay ability added more to this arcade-ike feel. Not to mention, the last level featured an elevator arena, a staple of every beat'em'up of olde, to fight enemies in. It's a shame that the only means of acquiring this again are either the physical copies, or elsewhere for the digital copies.

This did look like a game I would enjoy. Love the hack n slash type... Sad it fell through so badly. Curse you Activision.

I work at Gamestop and I had a customer bring this in for trade today. I had never seen it before, which is somewhat rare for me to not recognize a game cover, so I purchased it from him for $5 more than Gamestop was offering him. Wasn't aware it was such a rare game but I'm looking forward to playing through it.

I love the art direction in this game. Reminds me of Vietiful Joe.
  • @Xeo7
I work in a hobby shop and managed to scoop a PS3 copy of this up for a measly $6 with my discount. Couldn't argue with that.

such an underrated golden game, it totally did not deserve the hate
  • @saligraphy
I started playing this game on my 360 when I moved into my new place. It's pretty damn fun

I freakin love this game & I even platinumed it! The worst thing is the waiting lobby but if you can friend others & find a schedule that works there’s a lot of fun to be had.

I didnt realise how rare this was and I'm so happy to have gotten it because I realy enjoy the game

Im a big fan of TMNT and I’ve always wanted a good game to go on the Xbox One. And when I discovered mutants in Manhattan. I instantly fell INLOVE with the style and it all together, despite bad reviews I still would have bought the game, but I had been too late since they had ripped the game from digital stores

I felt this game was really good. I think too many times we hold the older games to such a high standard that we don't let the other Turtle games even touch it even if the games are actually pretty good.

This game is so misunderstood. The mindset you gotta be in to enjoy it is much more like a Monster Hunter game. I was lucky enough to play with a full team online and when you do that and stop playing it as a mindless hack and slash it is an incredible game. I hope someday it gets ported to a system that can handle split screen so maybe more people could understand what it was trying to do.

This game had some potential. If the combo system and enemies were reworked a bit (along with a couch-co-op system), it'd be a classic. The trouble is, the trailers betrayed more of a story-based experience, but what we got was more of a hybrid between arcade and some cheap open world. I wish a modding team would get ahold of this thing.

But platinum also created Transformers Devastation and that game is absolutely perfect.

I thought this game was an upcoming title. I now realise this is old as but I'd still buy it.
