this feels like being the side character that everyone loves

being in high school is so much more boring than the movies, but sometimes it's better than the movies. Yesterday I went to an Outdoor Movie at a park at night. My friend and I took pictures when the sky was a very pretty blue in an empty parking lot away from the movie. We just hung out and we played tug-o-war with our other friends. While our team was losing, two random boys ran over and helped us win. A group of 8th graders asked us for our instas LMAO. (we didn't give it to them but they were nice people!) This summer. I swear. This is the summer I'm happy.

It's somehow comforting to know that I've been the cool older brother figure for so many kids in my neighborhood. Near me lived a lot of kids four to six years younger than me and we had a great time together. I thought them how to ride bikes and skateboards, how to defend themselves, how to climb trees and getting the smooth pebbles form the deep part of the river and make them bounce. I used to go and buy snacks and drinks with maybe too much sugar for them and take them to steal fruit from the neighbor's trees. I used to gather them all in my living room when my parents were outside and see movies with them (some not really age appropriate but they loved them). I thought them how to play drums, piano and guitar and we used to write little silly songs and play them in the garden on cool Summer nights. We used to stargaze and wait for shooting stars while I showed then different constellations. I hope they still remember me as a good part of their childhood

I always fantasize about being in a band friend group. It's the only thing that keeps me up when Im unable to socialize. Sure I have friends but they didn't have the same likes as I did, limiting our conversations. Imagining about being with a group of people you can speak to, having similar interest is probably is the sweetest thing to wish rn, especially as a teen in school.

Anyone who genuinely likes hanging out with me is a cool kid in my eyes

Was never the cool kid next door. Somewhat thankful for that because the actual cool kid next door is in jail now. Shame really. He was a good guy in school.

I was that kid who steal neighbors pretty flowers explore abandoned grassy places and stole cherries from the cherry tree lmaoo my name is similar to Cat so I'm called the cat burglar in my neighborhood. I was the kid if you ever see me the one with the oversized black T-shirt with a lollipop and a red backpack on a bicycle to big for me. Don't forget my acoustic guitar and sing song voice! I built fairy houses and play with stray cats too 🐾 never really had a friend though I use to be quiet at school but that didn't worked out then I forced myself to be like always the cheerful dumb submissive type at school but outside school very different. I am quiet yet talkative to only friends I trust. The others who are all fake and pretend I'm tired of acting like them. Outside of school I don't care I say what I want and want to be me . It's so hard to be real in this world. In East Asian standards I am deemed as a boyish girl not what they say as feminine 😒. Oh dear all my parents do is shake their heads at me as I was a disappointment "oh katie katie katie"don't blame them though they are so perfectionist and ivy leagues graduate. I'm nothing like them... Just got done fighting with my mom. This playlist helped a lot and it’s really nice for when I’m crying and feel like dying especially when showering or taking a nice warm and relaxing bath. I really need this kind of stuff to cope with my issues. Can’t wait to be 16 and free to drive.

The good ol days when I along with my 2 other friends almost died multiple times from our little adventures every day after class, moments like sneaking into a private beach resort, going to an abandoned House and playing badminton using broken chairs, gping for a joyride after class while still wearing uniforms, skipping classes, playing music inside the campus, Stealing keyboard from the computer rooms, sleeping inside school libraries, fishing on a private property fishpond, walking on top of sea walls while theirs a storm waiting for huge waves, throwing rocks at tiny crabs on the side of the boulevard, going to some hidden waterfall without a clue where it is, making secret bases under river bank bridges, Playing on the rice fields when we still have classes, cooking some random dish in the School Bakery, trying to find ghosts , breaking plates from canteens and alot more, it's so nostalgic

There’s a word for when you feel nostalgia for a time you’ve never experienced. This is what this playlist feels like to me. Gives me an 80’s vibe, when you’re in a parking lot somewhere with a friend, staring up at the night sky, just hanging around. I’m a 00’s kid so I don’t know what that’s like but it reminds me of when I used to play at the playgrounds everyday until dinner. Good times.

i just finished high school and its the summer before i go to college my last semester was so chill--all easy classes, no more applying to college or classes with hours of homework, i could just hang out with friends, play cards during free periods, not need parents to drive me places it was fun not sure what next years gonna look like, but i guess we'll see :) anyway this playlist was chill, thanks
