November of 2011, a wheelchair-bound woman and her full-time caregiver were at home when there was a knock on the front door. The caregiver got up and walked over to the door and opened it up, but there was no one there. And when she looked up and down the road, she didn't see anyone walking or driving away. Then, she looked down and noticed there was what appeared to be a gift on the porch, but there was no tag on it. So, the caregiver brought it inside and put it on the kitchen table, and told the woman she was caring for that because this was not labeled, they shouldn't open it for now. However, later that day, when still they didn't know who had sent it or what it was, the woman in the wheelchair was curious, so she secretly grabbed the gift off the kitchen table and opened it up. And the second she did, absolute chaos ensued

  • Man I love just being able to come home, go outside and being able to listen to a Mr. Ballen episode and just chill. Who else?

Ha! I'm only part way in....😂 If i were the Police i would go straight to the guy trying to "convince" everyone that it was the brother. Nothing like a guy in charge of finances shouting wolf.
  • @life1me0
Thanks for covering a Canadian story!
  • @Aza-em8ol

A chance for parole in 25 years?!! Victoria's daughter has no one, even if she went to a family member, no one could replace her Mother.
  • This was a complete shock!! Never would i guess it would be this person!! Wow 😮
  • @StarsDie88
Anyone else see the Breaking Bad parallels? A person in a wheelchair dying by a pipebomb. Cops collecting fingerprints from a fast food restaurant. Weird.
  • @ValricP
Victoria: "Let me ask people who give good advice to know what to do." Everyone: "Do NOT open the present." Victoria agrees but then opens it anyway. Oh Victoria, you were too innocent for this world. 😢
  • Been a long time listener and huge fan, but I would love to hear more stories about paranormal, bigfoot, etc. Just a suggestion, still a huge fan.
  • @Gabijns90
Beautiful morning for a fresh podcast ✨
  • I can assure you Brian would never spend anytime in jail because in Canada criminals don't serve time Victoria unfortunately did not listen to people who were much smarter than her and paid the price

Thanks for the stories, even though they're so sad, but the intermission music is hallarious. 😂
  • This gave me shivers to hear that this story was from my hometown of Innisfail. Still live here and didn’t know of this. This was definitely a shock to hear Innisfail as the location at the start of this video. The town has about 8-9 thousand people and it’s not big at all. Love the podcast
  • wait, if her friend was speeding and lost control how would they sue any other driver ????
