Kansas flat as a Pancake?

Sometimes people refer to a study on if Kansas is as flat as a pancake. Which would proof earth is flat.

It does not. The pancake is pretty thick, they used geodesic data (which is the study of the sphere earth), and most of all: they used elevation: above sea level. Totally ignoring the earths curvature.

If you take the curvature into account, and use a nice thin pancake, it turns out the pancake is about a factor 5 times flatter.

    I have not once seen a 2 mm thick pancake in my 18 years on this planet, maybe you are confused with crepes
