I wore a KFC bucket to a Buckethead show at the Culture Room. I took it off my head when he was passing out toys and extended it his way. He tried to toss a toy in, but the hands of the crowd deflected it away. BUT ! He tried again and placed it ALL the WAY this time making sure I got it. It was a Hot Wheelz car which I still have to this day and cherish very much. Buckethead is my hero. I am 35 and started playing when I was 11. To this day, he makes me inspired to pick up my guitar and let my soul flow free. I love you Buckethead. I can’t wait to see him on this tour ! I am eternally grateful.
  • I met Buckethead and Maximum Bob outside some small club in Sacramento 20 some years ago. I shook Big B's hand and knew better not to give the guy a firm grip and was met with an equally limp shake. He looked me in the eye when I asked if I could have a picture with him and Maximum Bob, but I asked if it would be ok to take 2 pictures...one with the 3 of us looking like old pals and the other being attacked by them. His eyes lit up and he shook his head joyfully. I love you Buckethead

I did a meet and greet with Primus at Ozzfest late 90's ? in West Palm Beach Florida. Brain was drumming and BucketHead sat it. When i met Les,Lar and Brain ....there was a dude hanging at the table with them it ended up being BH. W/o the mask and Bucket. He was super cool. I was wearing a Taxi Driver shirt and he was just going on about it. I didn't realize at the time who he was. But talked about the movie for awhile. It was blazing hot and humid. I would have gifted him the shirt had i know. He didn't do pics but he did sign the promo pic of Primus with a hand drawn little BucketHead. Pretty cool. Still have it .and the picture of Les and me
  • When Shawn Lane gives you props, you know you're a god damned beast.

I got to meet Buckethead once (people don't believe me but we took a picture together so...) it was at Exit In in Nashville after one of his solo shows. I used to just walk backstage there and meet people that I would have never met and way too long to list... anyways, I just did that about 30 mins. before he went on and bam! there he was, he had some handler dude with him that tried to push me back but he pushed the guy back and motioned me over. we shook hands and I asked if we could take a picture together and he made the dude take our picture. he said some jibberish in a high pitched voice that wasn't even words and shook my hand again and I left to watch the show
  • He's a shredder and a Performance Artist. I love that about him. A lot of us can probably relate to his need for the bucket to feel confident. He's a free spirit. The rock world is better because he's in it.

I became a fan back in 2000 and thought i was late to the party. little did I know how much insane music he would release from then till now.
  • @jeffreyblock16
Knowing the anxiety dude has its amazing he would accept taking the place of Slash.

Buckethead gave me a pack of glow stars at one of his shows.. (when he brought out the gift bag with disney like music playing and started handing little toys to people 😆😄) One if the funniest memories

I met Buckethead once. In 2006 for secret recipe. First in line to meet him. Shook his hand and told him it was an honor. He looked at me and said “hmmmmooommmm” he signed my buckethead comic book “to Julian” personalized. Hands down best celeb meeting and I’ve met and hung out with some big ones at the time . Korn, limp bizkit etc.

I have to admit that, without this much information at the time, I thought Bucket Head was just a hidden guitar player that replaced Slash, and the whole bucket thing was to make fun of Slash and his hat.

I was lucky enough to see Brian Carroll perform with Les Claypool is S.F. with no gimmick on. That was a historical event for me

Buckethead is definitely a extremely talented, unique individual. I respect his intelligence for his business aspects and his work ethic. Thank you, Buckhead, for everything you give.

The Bucket Man is one guitarist that stands right out. His playing is original and sounds great . Good on him.

My friend saw him back when he was with the Delicreeps. I was in Amoeba in San Francisco once, buying a Buckethead CD, and the lady at the checkout counter said to me "oh, yeah he was in here a couple weeks ago" or something like that, and said he just looks like a normal guy.
