It’s heartwarming to see Jason’s costars and the Power Rangers fanbase express their condolences, but it’s baffling to me that Jason’s death isn’t receiving nearly as much attention from the general public or coverage from the mainstream media. This guy was the face of a movement. His name was synonymous with the Power Rangers brand. For all intents and purposes, he helped build a multi-billion dollar franchise that has withstood the test of time for nearly 30 years now. His legacy deserves far more recognition.

Once a Ranger...always a Ranger. Rest in peace, Jason.

His legacy will never be forgotten. As long as we 90s kids remain he'll always be in our heart.

He meant more to 90s kids than any Marvel "star." For many of us, he was our very first "hero." Tommy was a dastardly villain that could take on all the Rangers alone, and became the leader in the truest redemption arc. That's what makes a true hero, not just being the main character. What a legend.

Jason David Frank was and will always be, The Greatest Ranger of all time. May he rest in peace.

Cannot believe he's gone and right after we lost Kevin Conroy. JDF and Kevin Conroy... Both defined my childhood as amazing talents. Will forever miss them both. Rest in peace

He truly was the greatest Power Ranger to ever land on screen and Jason David Frank owned that role 100%. I still cant belive he's gone. You could always feel his presence on that show, even when he wasnt on it. His legacy and what he brought to that role will never be forgotten. The fact he took such a goofy character so seriously and seemed to actually embrace the role is something special.

One of the coolest things about JDF was always making himself available to the fans, always participating in meet and greet events. He was a big role model for the kids especially. My deepest condolences to his family and close friends 🙏🏼

Met the dude at a couple of comic-cons. He was always happy and willing to interact with the fans. You could tell how much they meant to him. May the man rest in peace.

Watching Jason David Frank as the white ranger definitely is what made me love white tigers. I remember begging my mom to get the costume for Halloween as a kid. Thankful I still have the original mighty morphin power rangers movie. Rest in peace and power.
