I can't believe the number of reporters asking "why won't bond companies take his buildings as collateral" when the whole point of the lawsuit was that he lied about the worth of the buildings. Multiple times.

He doesn't have the cash and his properties are so leveraged he doesn't have the equity for collateral either...that's really the issue. If he had the equity he could get the loan.

If the Saudis or Russia bail him out, it would be a national security issue. Alina Habba refused to answer the question in an interview.

I'm sure AG James will do homework before seizing any properties. Worst would be getting the deed to something that's millions of $$$ dollars underwater due to mortgages. Trump's used a "Rob Peter to pay Paul" business model for decades and I sense Peter is tapped out.

He didn't approach 30 lenders - he approached only 4 BROKERS. Since each broker represents 7 or 8 lenders each, his attorneys cleverly turned 4 into 30 (that sounds much better, doesn't it?). Saying he went to 30 lenders is like saying I visited to 1,100 wineries because I went to a liquor store.
