(I do not own the rights to this song)

Nights in white satin, never reaching the end,
Letters I've written, never meaning to send.
Beauty I'd always missed with these eyes before.
Just what the truth is, I can't say anymore.

'Cos I love you, yes I love you, oh how I love you.

Gazing at people, some hand in hand,
Just what I'm going through they can't understand.
Some try to tell me, thoughts they cannot defend,
Just what you want to be, you will be in the end.

And I love you, yes I love you,
Oh how I love you, oh how I love you.

Nights in white satin, never reaching the end,
Letters I've written, never meaning to send.
Beauty I've always missed, with these eyes before.
Just what the truth is, I can't say anymore.

'Cos I love you, yes I love you,
Oh how I love you, oh how I love you.
'Cos I love you, yes I love you,
Oh how I love you, oh how I love you.

I went soft when Sgt. Pepper whipped out the flute, then went back to midnight when he said he loved me.

Ohhh how I love [radio]. Yes that is where I found the song, but Reddit MADE me rediscover it. Bastards...One does not simply listen to this without hearing Zeds version.
  • Awesome. Never knew much about Moody Blues sadly. But, I'm going to buy their albums! Pity they don't write music like this anymore... When music had a message to give, not like today when music is so often pointing to sex, money, fame, fortune and glory.

Beautiful place--lovely song. Thank-you for the quick reply & info--thanks for this post! Peace.
  • I can't believe this is a 67 video. How old was they on this one? The music sounds like the original 45 version. My first time seeing them on television Justin Heywood was a blonde. And stunningly handsome. We watched in silence. This was and is still a beautiful song then as well as today.

@aBoone92 I listened to them before there were computers! Still good though.

It was filmed at Groot Bijgaarden Castle near Brussels Belgium. I agree that it is the perfect setting and that is why I posted this video even though the quality is not very good.

Nice to see where Zedd's Dead got the sample.

Is it bad that the movie "Halloween" brought me here. When miachel myers sister was running from the hospital and ran into that little shed where that gate is? I've heard it in the movie not Anywhere else and I wanted to check it out. Completely forgot about it until now where I was watching trippy stuff and I heard this and I was like oh that in the movie Halloween...now here I am in 2022

So how does this video have a thousand reddit upvotes, but only 302 views?

Anybody know what manor house is in this vid? Perfect setting for this masterpiece. Classic from my youth....

@TheInformativeGamer Of course I know how old this song is, but there are much better audio samples available of it. I guess Philtration just didn't have one available when he made this video. While combining actual archival footage of the real bands with their tracks is a super idea, it's just a shame the audio was so (re)compressed.
