Had a pair of 618βs, with the exception of brake bulbs, window regulators and exhaust parts - both were bombproof and gutless ππ great a-b cars. My mates Accord 2.0 normie spec used to leave me though. But he had a hilarious LED on his dash when Vtec engaged, it was so bright, used to light up his interior at night π with his 130bhp π

I nearly bought a 600 Ti back in 1997. Nice car, lack of rear leg room let it down a bit, though. Furious Matt would kill for the tea shelf π€£π€£

Everytime you get this back or you feature another one I get the urge to buy one too. Had a 600 diesel a long while back, red and low miles but sold it on. Something else caught my eye, another R8. I've had a few.

Captain there appears to be some slightly different qualities to the picture in today's video, have you changed something? Perhaps it just looks different in the seldom seen sunlight! What a turn-up to have Harry Secombe back in the yard! I heartily approve of the wooden steering wheel too. Neil's statement at the end is very funny! Now we just need a Peter Sellers and a Michael Bentine!

Agree entirely Paul - the 600 is my favourite Rover too. Something about it. Glad to see this one in fine healthβ¦ please get rid of that awful steering wheel though! π

Is the 600 the only Rover to have the speedo calibrated 20, 40, 60 mph as opposed to the usual 10, 30, 50 mph in a Rover? And yes, I'm weird for noticing thisπ

The 600 was and is an amazing car. Looks great, great engine line-up, and was (imo) one of the last great things to come from rover.
