Advanced Adventure is an absolute gem! As a DB fan in middle school when I was just learning about emulation I remember a classmate burning a CD-rom for me with the Visual Boy program as well as 20+ games, with one of them being the Japanese version of this game as the English version had yet to be released. I then loved the game so much that when it DID release physically in English I went right down to GameStop and picked it up!

Love how he's says "if you can find it cheap it's worth giving it a go" as he's emulating every game. Lol

I’ve said this before, but I just adore the GBA. I have so many great memories just sitting on my couch back in the day playing Metroid, Castlevania, and Zelda games. I actually had the game boy advance adapter you would plug into the bottom of the GameCube. I remember having my mind blown playing Circle of the Moon on my TV. Great times.

Zero Mission is a perfect GBA game. The graphics the music, the controls... Just sublime 👌🏻
  • Great video, the gba art style is one of the best art style for any video game era. Games that were ported like the snes ports or home console games of that era that were ported to the gba are the games that had to be compromised visually due to the different resolution and obvious the dark screen that the gba had so those games weren’t the best looking games out there. But the original gba titles, games that were made specifically for the gba hardware are the games that really shined
  • Recently I’ve been playing some impressive GB games like Cave Noire, Great Greed , The Frog For Whom the Bell Tolls & Roland’s curse . All of them unique & very fun.
  • I used to follow the Pocketeers dev blog way back then. Their GBA engine was amazing; they demonstrated games like Quake and GTA on it. Shame all those possibilities weren't realized.

Thank you for introducing me to Ice Nine. I love GBA FPS games.

Crazy Taxi for the GBA was an incredible achievement. I traded a few of my og GB games to have it. I loved it. The frame rate didn't matter that much to me at the time. When the PSP got Crazy Taxi, that was a massive upgrade.
  • Megaman Battle Network 6, DB Advance Adventure & Mortal Kombat Deadly Alliance are my favorite gba games on this list

Sonic Battle was part of my Childhood! Too bad there's no Link Cable Emulation for Sonic Battle.😥

I had Grunty's Revenge when I was a kid but I never finished it. Would love another Banjo-Kazooie game in the future. Sonic Battle is one of my favorite Sonic games actually. I liked the story and the minigames were fun too. Game can be hard sometimes though. I liked Emerl and being able to customize him as well. Dragon Ball Advance Adventure is fun too! I like being able to play the whole DB story in game form and I think making it a sidescroller was the perfect call. I still need to finish it though.
  • The GBA really was in a league of its own by providing very impressive games, especially visually. Another list of excellent picks! Ice Nine is one I’ve been wanting to try still!

Finally you mentioned the Need for Speed game, those looked really good but my favorite was Underground 2 or Carbon
  • @MaxXMansilla
I didn't know about Ice nine and it looks REALLY good, it is impressive how they handled the 3d in there.

My spot a game I own trend for your videos was funny enough won straight away with Metroid Zero Mission starting things off. My mind tends to go towards Metroid Fusion when I think of Metroid games so it was nice to be reminded how good and good looking Metroid Zero Mission was. 3:27 - Your gameplay here shows you hopping out of rolls, short hopping and slamming switches before you even land. I think how short the game is to you might be because you're too good at it. Your'e blitzing through the level. 3:54 - I always wanted to play Sonic Battle but never managed to stumble upon a cartridge. The choice of a handheld for this Power Stone-like (a comparison I love hearing) fighter is an interesting one but they certainly did a quality job with the character sprites both in-battle and during talking scenes. 7:41 - The lighting of Goku's Kamehameha alone is amazing to see. Always happy to see my favourite GBA game, Dragon Ball Advance Adventure, get some spotlight. 12:39 - Ice Nine here is the first (edit: and only) game in this video I've never heard of. Doesn't seem my thing but it does look impressive.

The GBA is underrated and it's life was cut too short in order to replace it with the DS.

0:45 Manual does, remember, it was a time where games came with instructions booklet that were essential to the experience because they didn't had developement time or memory space to include in-game tutorials.
