Kansas City is the largest city in Missouri by population and area. As of the 2020 census, the city had a population of 508,090 in 2020, making it the 36th most-populous city in the United States. With a thriving creative arts scene, history filled streets, and spectacular sports—plus so much more—it’s no wonder why the center of the country is quickly becoming the center of attention. There’s more to Kansas City than meets the eye. Unique attractions throughout KC beckon locals and visitors alike to find the city’s hidden gems. Explore the National WWI Museum and Memorial. Let curiosity guide you at Union Station. Walk in the steps of America's 33rd President in Independence. Uncover the city’s charm by discovering its attractions.

I'd recommend visiting Kansas City if you want to see a big and famous Midwestern City.

Why did Missouri decided to also name their side of the river "Kansas City"? Because Missouri loves company.

I been in KC for 21 years, I'm 21 now so yes my whole life, and you still explored more areas, places, and vehicles than I have.😂😭

We figured BBQ was gonna be on the list, and we were right. Because it deserves to be. KC BBQ is quite good -- just like your video, Dani!

Native Kansas Citian here. Bryant’s and Gate’s don’t even make my top 20. B&B Lawnside (and blues) is my fave. The Plaza area was a toxic swamp before it became the gem it is today. Seville Spain is our sister city. Thus the Spanish architecture. Be there for the Plaza lighting ceremony on TG nite. Don’t forget Westport and the Zoo. One big downer is the HOT/HUMID summer weather. That’s a big reason that I left in 1977.

Another fun place to go in KC is the West Bottoms Piano Shop- they’re open Monday-Saturday all day, and have over 100 pianos to explore and play on, including organs, player’s, nickelodeons, and electrics!

Not even a mention of the Kauffman Center for Performing Arts?
  • Awesome! Very informative video! I am definitely going to visit the world war one museum and have some bbq! Thanks for sharing beautiful lady😘😘😘 xox
  • I grew up in Kansas City, but live in the Los Angeles area (Orange County) now. I have flown to Seville, Spain many times and it was nice seeing the Avenida de Kansas City, which is the main thoroughfare between the train station and downtown Seville.
  • Love this video & format, Dani! And the video has the perfect length!
  • Beware of the P&L district. Highest sales taxes in the metro area , unless you want to spend money

You should walk around the Plaza. It’s much better than walking the downtown area. It’s beautiful around Christmas when everything is lit up and there are many places to shop and eat. You could also see the fountains, which is one of the things KCMO is known for.
  • You saw a lot in your 1/2 day tour. The WWI Museum is a must for anyone interested in American, world, or military history. Highly recommended. Thanks for the tour!
  • This is exactly what I was looking for! Thanks for including the free destination ideas!
