You can tell she tried really hard to handle your hair with respect and professionalism.

The fact that they don't deal with this hair texture often but still manage to take such good care of it just shows how good they are
  • I love Korean stylists, they will do their level best. Way back in 1988 I was newly stationed I'm Korea andxmy hair had fallen put a couple of months prior due to a horrible perm. I went to a Korean stylist, no foreign hair stylists were in country, who put a curl in my head using the tiny red rods. I had practically no hair at all.. Baby, I saw her every 2 weeks and when I left Korea 9 months later my hair was down the middle of my back when blown out. They will always try♥️

“Everything in the salon is from the year 3000”! Love that!!! And I want everything they did, done to meeee!!!
  • @Thismeekpotato
The focus in her eyes, she was NOT letting you leave without giving it her absolute best. 👏👏👏
  • This is why I love Koreans. The way they give strangers respect is so sweet and cute

I LOVE that she chose to lightly blow dry and scrunch sections of your fro to “style” it. That is proof that you can know absolutely nothing about black hair and not damage it!!!
  • @CherryJuli
Even if she didn’t know how to do your hair it looks really cute.

She’s a doll. I imagine she doesn’t see your 4C texture often, if at all. She seemed determined to give you a good experience, regardless of her inexperience with your hair texture. Edit: I just learned that this creator’s hair is 4A-4B, and not 4C. Doesn’t change the spirit of my comment, I just wanted to acknowledge that I was wrong about that. I’m not a hair guru girlie, and I don’t want my original comment to be misleading to anyone with 4C hair
  • Was this in Korea? It had to be, right? I love those tools they use, much more sophisticated than any I have ever seen in most other salons. Those Korean women are so beautiful, when they get intense, as the second hair dresser looked, as she looked on , they look almost terrifyingly beautiful! They showed a lot of respect and care for you and your hair. Then, at the end, you looked beautiful and happy!

You know what, I love that they respected the texture and didn't try to brush it out.
  • @ValidityJ
I love how gracious you spoke about them trying to do your hair ❤ You're so kind.
  • I love your sweet attitude about her not knowing how to style...we need more people like you.
  • @FullmetalNFlame
They may not know how to do your hair specifically, but they made it look so fluffy and bouncy and full of life. It looks so healthy!
  • @justjulia8007
What I admire is the fact you were understanding of their lack of knowledge when it comes to your hair type. That’s gracious and mature. ❤

Loved this video ❤ Yes, as a fellow curler, I chuckled at how she tried to dry the hair, but you can tell the hairdresser was kind 😊
  • I’m so glad she didn’t brush or try to straighten it. She was very respectful without knowing what to do exactly. So glad you had such a wonderful experience.
