A quick animatic. I wanted to draw Hera.

Its actually unfinished... My tablet broke and I had to do stuff w a mouse so some frames look badly drawn than others. Of course my favorite frame is the first frame drawn.

Ill be unable to draw for a while until I get this fixed.

Anywayss, thankyou for a thousand! Also the awfully drawn last panel was drawn by a mouse, as I said, my lcd broke. I wanted to show Heras full design in that last frame T.T

The detail of Hera's sudden drop in mood when Athena says that Odysseus never cheated on his wife, honestly amazing and sad. I feel bad for her.

0:10 Angry Peacock 😂 Also it's pretty sad how much Hera is reminded that other couples have loyal spouses (I do qualify Odysseus as a loyal spouse because he could not fully consent to Circe nor Calypso because they were powerful and threatening of his and/or his men's lives, and consent under threat or fear is not consent. Not to mention the dude gives up immortality with a beautiful goddess for the chance he could spend the rest of his days with Penelope, so he's loyal in more than one way. Zeus could never
  • I’ll be real lore Hera has a 50/50 chance beating the shit out of Athena for that last line and we know she could do it since she did the same to Artemis before.

Its especially impressive to Hera, when you consider he's been away for almost 20 years. 10 of which was spent at war where taking a woman as a concubine was common/ approved. Especially of someone with his high status. And he's been at sea for another ten years, had two immortal, beautiful goddesses who threw himself at him, and he STILL refused. This is amazing to her. Especially when her husband in comparison literally tries to do everything that moves.

I love how saying "never once has he cheated on his wife" was enough to convince her đŸ€Ł

Great❀ I love the glimpse of sadness in Hera's eyes Like, what if it really hurts her and not only a comedy bit...
  • @Graycata
This is the first ive seen Hera seem hurt at the end, rather than insulted or miffed
  • @AnimationBlargs
I love how the peacock is just giant and pearing over her shoulder- this is amazin- 🎉
  • I always find the 'never once has he cheated on his wife' hilarious. Like, "You're messing with my friend? Fine, I'll mess with your marriage!"
  • @augustoleal291
I love how upbeat yet regal that Hera is. Most Hera depictions are just her with a snarky smirk and calling it a day.
  • @juanig4198
Really great how she gets serious about finding an ancient Greek who respects marriage
  • @LocalSquigmaOrk
The cute little peacock squint as it looks over her shoulder as if it's trying to read Athena XD ❀
  • @Borderose
Athena knows exactly how to get her stepmom/aunt on her side.

Hera's standards are on the floor but this animation is top quality
