Testing Scary Minecraft Myths That Are Still Real

That art of white eyes almost looks like Corrupted Herobrine

Its terrifying how just a render glitch from 13 years ago can led to people saying that its the "white eyes" myth and over to the "herobrine" we all knew and didnt know the truth of.

My first theory is that Herobrine IS White Eyes. My second theory is that White Eyes is actually Null, because in Null’s story he is a “identity stealer”, and it says that Null stole Herobrine’s identity and skin, so the Herobrine in the first screenshot in Alpha 1.0.16 was actually Null with Herobrine’s identity. Null in fact could be controlling all Minecraft creepypastas and entities. I can’t believe that even after 13 years in a peaceful and colorful game, the community is still discussing about these myths.

Thanks for this, White Eyes as a legend doesn't get enough love, and I also didn't know about the spidery form. I always heard it took the form of two pixels or a disembodied female entity attracted to Disk 13 (inspired by the rendering glitch and the fact that cave noises and music disks had just been added). I've missed the lorehunting videos, I get that you've moved into new content, but the spooky videos were always my favorite.

I remember back in the days of alpha getting random fires in the caves with no sources to light it from. Would drag my PC up to a friends house so I'd be playing Single player with no internet connection while competing with my buddies in seeing how far each of us could get.

I just read the herobrine article and I saw the part where it said"I emailed notch and asked him if he had a brother. Notch:" i did. But he is no longer with us. " This is truly sad. ❤

Ah yes, the old nostalgic Herobrine myths back then. Back when we were scared, back when we were excited to actually know that Herobrine is legitamately in our world...

Fun fact: Another Minecraft launcher called Tlauncher has EVERY version you could possibly think of, but you need to change it so it shows you all those versions, even alphas and betas, in the settings on the bottom right, I think

If you want more info on Herobrine... I recommend checking Alpha 1.2.7, There was a sighting there, and the Minecraft creepypasta wiki literally says it 's the version where herobrine _lives_.

Fun fact white eyes earliest sighting could be be on alpha 1.0.3 and up to alpha 1.0.14
