  • Being a music teacher myself, I love how paedagogically wholesome they review their fans <3 They're doing all the tricks in the book! Positive affirmation by saying what is good first, then pointing out in a very fair and respectful way the areas where they think the fan could improve in and then giving not one but multiple solutions to the problem. Please, future violin teachers, teach exactly like this! :) Hugs from Germany! :) Edit: Holy shit, I didn't even realize I had this much likes on my comment. Thanks guys <3

Me at 11pm in my room: carefully listening to violin advices Also me: never touched a single violin in my life
  • @alech9418
In fairness, they would make tons of money doing a Masterclass.

These guys are actually really good at this. They know exactly the level that the player is at, and their comments are right where the player needs to hear a constructive suggestion to improve his or her playing. They're gentle and supportive and they actually spent time on intermediate players.

For Alice, the flutist: first of all, straighten your back a bit, the posture is not good for the diaphragm; keep your shoulders down and try not to raise them while you play, it creates unnecessary tension; your tone is really good, it can be even better if you give it a bit more support with air (airflow should be faster but the lips should still be relaxed); while playing trillers, concentrate on the base note and keep it in focus to prevent it from dispersing all over the place. This is just some friendly advice from a flute professor to be :)
  • Can we just take a moment to appreciate how they pointed out what each person lacked in but didn't just state what was wrong, but how to fix it.
  • @kyaaa4485
