I'm Kris - a Danish travel blogger and tour guide. I used to run my own travel agency, and I'm a massive travel-planning geek π€
I live in Copenhagen, so CPH Airport is the main airport I always go to. It's one of the best airports in Europe, and it's such a breeze to get the metro straight from the arrival hall to the city centre in only 13 minutes!
If you've got any questions about your trip to Denmark, please let me know - and remember to check my travel blog at Destinationwellknown.com for more travel tips to Copenhagen and plenty of other destinations worldwide π

IMPORTANT INFO regarding the train: in this video, I state that you can get any train from platform 2 if your destination is Copenhagen Central Station. That is no longer the case - there are now a couple of trains every hour that do NOT stop at the Central Station. Most trains do, but make sure you check the screens before boarding the train π€

Don't excuse the old central train station for being old. That's the charm and beauty of it!
-
The Central Station has a lot of charm. Cleaner and safer than in some Belgian Railways Stations. At the end I used my CPH card during my first visit in July 2023. And the metro has easier, arrived nearly closed to the hotel π

We visited Copenhagen for the first time a couple of weeks ago, and the journey to City Centre was seamless. From the airport to Norreport on the M1, and walked 2.5 blocks to our hotel. If only every city in the world was so easy to enjoy!
-
Copenhagen Central Station looks magnificent - a wonderful piece of heritage. We are going to Copenhagen tomorrow and this video was very helpful.
-
The City Pass is really convenient and so easy to take from the airport terminal. We would definitely say the metro but if you land at night be careful, they sometimes close the metro for a couple of hours (maintenance) and they especially don't communicate that in their app or website π.

Went to Copenhagen from a country that does not have a metro system so this video really helped! Provided all the necessary information and great tips! Navigating was very easy. Thank you :)
-
Thanks, really detailed. I'm in love with that system... so simple, so frequent. Now, I must plan a trip! π

Thanks for the explanation of the metro. I followed the instructions and made it to my hotel without a problem. Even took the mandatory selfieπ. The best part of this video is that I am familiar with the metro station map on day one of vacation and feel comfortable going wherever I want now for the rest of my stay. Thanks!
-
Thanks! Chris. I'm taking the Metro to central station tomorrow afternoon
