CherryTree have created an officially licensed Star Trek PC case that looks SWEET… only problem is we’ve got a hand built prototype.. with no instructions.. or hardware.. so let’s built it live!

Would be really cool to see the LTT Water Bottle converted into reservoir for a LTT custom PC Case! Can we make it happen?

The uniform pull thing (The Picard maneuver) didn't start in the beginning. The first uniforms were a single piece with elastic pulling all the way from the shoulders to the feet to keep everything nice and smooth. The tension from the elastic was causing Patrick Stewart lots of back issues and he fought hard to stop using them. They got new uniforms starting in the second season without the elastic but that meant they bunched up when going between sitting and standing. Stewart would do the tug to flatten it out so it had clean lines (which is what the elastic was doing originally).

I think that case would look better if it had its original borg cube colours - black case with green lights
  • @vr0k3n
I absolutely love Alex's weird/nerdy sense of humor and personality <3
  • @Zeruyu
They probably use an Intel CPU because it's very hot (39.1°C air temperature) inside Borg cubes.
  • @Valdyr_Hrafn
there's just some people I enjoy watching doing their thing and hear em talk. Alex is once such person
  • I would expect to see rats nest of cables inside the Borg cube for a realistic look anyway so let them drape!
  • @Commanderson7
Having been a Star Trek fan for about 30 years I love this. This is very cool and I am so happy you guys did this. Star Trek doesnt get enough love.
  • @Zeruyu
Star Trek: Picard's final episode drops tomorrow! 🖖 Can't wait how the old Enterprise-D will do against the Borg.
  • @RaptorTwoFour
I was hoping you all were going to review this amazing case once it hit the market. Happy to see that you finally did!
  • @StarTrek4Life
How did I miss this stream? As a Trekie, I would have loved to seen this live. If I had the money, i would buy that Borg case immediately but, in its original Black and Green colors. Maybe program a Rasberry Pi, to play sounds of the Borg....

When I saw the video's title I immediately thought of the Borg from Star Trek. You can't imagine my joy when I realized it actually was about the Borg from Star Trek. Edit: To all clowns: The thumbnail was added AFTER the livestream finished!
  • Well as a Graphic Designer who went through nine semesters of design school to get a degree and has been drawing since she was five I can tell you it does not come easy. Like every skill it takes a lot of practice and experience, that is what makes it look simple and easy. My mind is blown when I see Linus just pops in a CPU. Every time I ever built a system I sweated bullets over not damaging any pins. So there is that. ;)
  • @andy_warb
Rainbow Borg - Resistance is FABULOUS!
  • @rokku87
I was born the year next generation aired. As a fan of Star Trek since I was basically a baby? It's a little bit blossomous to see a Borg cube in white. But this is quite possible one of my favorite LTT videos ever lol
  • @chipinnc
There used to be a company called Everex that made a grey Borg Cube looking 386 PC. Huge # of add in cards, huge memory boards for the time, and tons of hard disk slots. It even had a nice sliding door to hide the floppy drives.
