Despite their differences in social class, Charlotte (Kathy Bates) and Alice (Alfre Woodard) are good friends for many years. Then secrets, greed, and scandal surrounding their families put women's lives into turmoil.     Don't bother reading the comments with this movie. It is well worth the watch. So many life lessons in here about being content with what you have in life, respect of yourself and your loved ones, and appreciation of life and how God can transform your life if you have Faith in Him.     My ex did the same to me after she dated her guy for 1 year and i didn’t know she was dating someone else too, when I got to know I left her she didn’t bother to look back but after 3 months that guy left her she came back running to me , forcing me to meet her and be together but I said no thanks , she use all her friends come talk to me but I rejected
