LEGO Ninjago MOC Building - Part 1

Published 2022-06-20
LEGO has made some modern classics in their Ninjago theme. In this video I show you how I build a Ninjago inspired LEGO MOC. LEGO Ninjago is a great theme to work in as it really gives a lot of opportunities for detailing and variation.

This video is made for an adult audience.

This looks really nice, maybe put a small garden in the back. Maybe a couple bamboo plants inside
  • A dojo would be super fun! Maybe a Sushi bar or Ramen shop? Or even a Bonsai nursery?

That Harry Potter green is sand green and I’m a sucker for it. Good to see you tap into the ninjago aesthetic. I think modern LEGO cities are incomplete without it

A great way to add extra character to your city. Which you could have called Jacobsville.

You have definitely captured an oriental feel for this building, I like the colours and designs you have made so far. One suggestion is to move the lanterns a bit higher by the front door - they are currently abut shoulder height for a minifig and I think they may look better if they hang from the same level as the upper red stripe 🏮😃 I’m looking forward to seeing how this progresses!

What a great design! Really like the feel - it does have that Asian flair (not even thinking Ninjago itself) and I think it can lend itself well to a number of businesses like you described. a DoJo would be really cool (I made one in my city) and that way you could perhaps integrate a bit of that Ninjago in (especially if you have any figures). Look forward to seeing more!
  • do remember your ninja go city inspired build from your old city. hope you do that type of build again but as for this build it does look good! the continuation of variety of style of buildings.
  • Looks great! Are you adding another floor? I would love to see a sculpture workshop in there, just like in the Ninjago City Docks.
  • The light that's in the back part looks a little low for a mini fig . Might blind the minifig.
