The Arnold script sounds genuinely great and I'm sad it didn't get made. I'd also be interested to hear about the Corin Hardy and Jason Mamoa Crow reboot that fell apart

Speaking of Tim Burton, he originally wanted to direct a film called "Dinosaurs Attack", inspired by the titular trading cards. Unfortunately, a certain director and his dinosaur film drove that idea into extinction..

A number of directors came and went with this including Chris Columbus, The Hughes Brothers, James Cameron and Michael Bay. After Arnie dropped out, George Clooney was tagged to it, then Leonardo Dicaprio, then Matt Damon.

Halfway through I was daydreaming this was a Lord of the Rings spinoff film. Aragorn vs the Apes. That Arnie impression was great!

Seems like another solid Schwarzenegger Sci-fi; I'd just have to wonder if he did this film, what film might've not been able to grab him and we would've missed out on a Schwarzenegger classic.
