I can't imagine the terror and heartbreak it would be to see your children scared , hungry, and exhausted. Thank you to the people who are bringing these mother's and their children to homes.

  • I went out for a walk just to remind myself how fortunate I am to live in a country where there is no war. My prayers are with all Ukrainians. May the good Lord help them.

I'm just sitting here crying in my warm comfortable home while knowing innocent people and children across the world are suffering so much. If I wasn't disabled I would have been there days ago.

My heart broke, I couldn't take it anymore when I saw the little boy with his mother and sister clutch his stuffed bear while his sister talked to the reporter. Hope they will be reunited with their father soon. Hope all families will be reunited. Don't give up Ukraine!!!

There, Poles from all over Poland went to the border and they take refugees to their homes.Almost all cities, towns and villages have prepared all kinds of help for refugees from Ukraine. Many Poles collect gifts for refugees, money, food, clothes, toys for children, and even food for dogs and cats that have been taken with them by refugees. Many Poles came even just to help refugees reach a place in Poland where they have their friends or relatives, they transport them in their cars, often for several hundred kilometers for "one smile" :) When one sees it, the heart rejoices that there is still so much love and kindness in this world. The heart grows when you see the smile of joy of these poor people from Ukraine when they realize that they are in a country where everyone wants to help them and that they will not be left alone.Their smiles of joy and relief reward and delight Poles as the most beautiful reward for what they do for them. I am very proud of my country and my fellow citizens for this selfless help. And I thank all the people from other countries who come to Poland to also help.Remember that this is not the end yet. Any help will come in handy.

I woke up in the morning and felt rich, I don't have a lot of money, but I have a house, my children are healthy, I have a job, I drink coffee every day and I am calm for tomorrow. God bless the people and Ukraine. God bless all people who help Ukraine

I canā€™t fathom how these families feel - agonizing fear. The anxiety alone would cut me down. Hearing that there are other families and people who are really trying to make the situation and changes even a little easier is hopeful. Iā€™m sitting here in Maine USA not able to hold my tears anymore. I wish I had the ability to provide some sort of comfort or safety, especially for the young moms whoā€™ve left home without anything but her kids and her life. šŸ’”šŸ’” Side note: why do the buses have flashing lights on them? Are they specifically meant for exactly this ā€˜missionā€™?
