For the record, no, level up bonuses are not consistent. While you can never get shortchanged and be weaker at Level 50 than someone else at Level 50, the way the games work is that they effectively have a deck of 49 level up cards, and a hand based on your current level. You can get a card from the hand when you level up, but cards in the deck will only go to the hand at certain levels, I.E. if you level up and get just a combo card, you can reload the save (well not so much in this challenge...) and get that same level, but you might get a stat increase instead. Don't know if that explains it. Point to be is that while you'll always get everything by the end, the order is inconsistent and the stat gains are rigged such that you can't save scum and have maxed out Speed at Level 4 or something like that. Also Brandon does that specifically in retaliation to being shot. And you probably could've gotten Gordon. *Quickstep. Not doing Wilted Flower also probably hosed you a bit. Yes, you were calling it Side Step earlier. I loathe the save the safehouse mission in OTR. It's real easy to miss the Survivors being invincible like in DR2. Wilted Flower (probably not escorting Rebecca, given the Gas Zombies) could be made easier if you grab Leadership in advance, that way you don't have to carry what's-her-face. You could also just ditch her outright once the shortcut is open if you must, or have her tag along while you finish Run For The Money. I don't think it'd be time effective to get her, do Run For the Money, then open the shortcut because the shortcut is in the same plaza anyway. Also, fun fact about the end of Overtime. You can completely break the zombie segment with the Zombie Walk since it's solely time based rather than kill based or something like that. If you get the Zombie Walk going as the fences come down, you can literally just stand there and do absolutely nothing until the cutscene kicks in. Also the PC port is stupid and broken.

I'm going to be honest, that may have been the most intense video I've seen from Git in a while. That was GREAT.

This video inspired me to give this a try on Off The Record. I did my run at a level 1 character. It is REALLY hard. Instead of loading up on skateboards, I grabbed the skateboard magazine right out of the gate when you need to get the first zombrex. (It’s in a toy shop in the Palisades Mall) It triples the health of skateboards and you basically carry 3 for 2 inventory slots, 1 skateboard and the magazine. The money issue wasn’t also hard because I got about 4-5 safety deposit keys and cashed them in when I went to fight Brandon at the Uranus Zone. (including the 2 zombrex keys). I also got the 3 free zombrexes in the world and from Carl the Postman. To get the other odd 600k I broke money cases during when you need to destroy the casino drills (they give upper 5 number to upper 6 number figures like 75k and 175k) and the rest I made money hackers and hacked ATMs. They give 20k each and they’re often put next to each other so that’s 40k. I did this when I had downtime between the earlier cases instead of when you stayed in the safe house. Oddly enough the best relax time you have for this type of run is when you need the 1 million. I had the 1 million before I had found out Rebecca was being held for ransom so I used the time to level Frank up by killing the snipers and Carl the mailman to hopefully get my levels up for extra inventory and HP. I also used this time to get the sports fan outfit so I can binge on alcohol and run faster the few times I didn’t have a skateboard. The harvesters weren’t horrible because of the BFG you told us about. They go through bad guys and you can shoot the mercenaries to clear them off the harvesters with only 1 BFG. I failed when I needed to physically attack Stacy 1 more time on her robot because the damn rockets wouldn’t recharge fast enough. It was really disappointing. Another 30 seconds of real time and I would’ve had her. Her second life bar is the biggest bitch of the fight, because I think it’s a bit random, when I fought her at the second bar she had a tendency to throw crates at me more than slamming her claws on me. Very annoying. Really sucked because I knew if I beat Stacy I would’ve have overtime done because I’d have nothing but the skateboard magazine and skateboards. (Keep in mind if you’re lucky you’ll have 6-7 inventory slots while doing this run and 5-7 health squares) When I Inevitably try this run again, I will not mess up on what I did like forgetting to give TK zombrex immediately, that probably bit me on the butt for wasting time. For the psychopaths, pain killer is a requirement on low levels. Brandon just needs a spiked bat and pain killers, but the rest need a light saber and painkillers. I brought 2 if I could, like to Boykins fight. Also skateboarding is a lifesaver when the gas zombies show up because they can’t hiccup you because you’re on the board. So yeah this was really fun and challenging, and this kind of run CAN BE done at level 1, but you need to know Dead Rising 2: Off The Record down pat. Weapon locations, combo cards, ways to get money, magazine locations, absolute time efficiency, and everything else you described. This video was fun to watch and I hope you make more awesome videos like this. I’ll comment again if I successfully beat OTR on level 1 at 4x speed.

What we learnt kids?,we learnt that: •You can't survive a zombie apocalypse without a skateboard •if you broke your leg, grab a mix of beer & wine and you should be fine •a toy gun take down helicopters pretty fast And the most important... •Don't don't trust the pointer, he gonna guide you to the wrong way

id be fine with the time limit if we also get a sandbox mode that lets us freely explore the map. maybe a new game plus feature with configurable modifiers to make it more interesting this is why i think otr is the best game in the series.
