Bugha aka Kyle Giersdorf won $3,000,000 prize pool at the Fortnite World Cup in 2019. There has been the story of Bugha, Before Bugha Was Famous by AussieAntics, stories from the battle bus by Epic Games, but I VOD Reviewed and Analysed his entire tournament win including his Game 1 Victory Royale win and reaction, and how that changed his life.

It wasn’t luck. He was calm in the most intense setting he could be in. This is what won him the wcf. His nerves being better than anyone else. Also he is just a beast
  • damn bughas wc performance was sooo good we still vod reviewing it over 3 years later

I think we can all agree that Bugha was the best player that day and was way ahead in skill and gamesense for that time

always get goosebumps whenever I watch him win the first game, it’s just crazy how he thinks so quick
  • Another thing that people underestimate in regards to that question is players aim back then. Even though their mechanics and game knowledge might be behind compared to now, I doubt most players (excluding pros) nowadays could compete with their aim back then.

People also don't bring up the facts that during world cup, edit on release wasn't in the game. Most players have EOR on, which would throw off their editing if they went back to 2019

i agree with almost all of this, but you seem to be underestimating how good heats level competitive players are, with modern mechanics and strategies i have no doubt in my mind that they would win 9/10 fights against ANY player in that world cup lobby, which already puts them as the favorites to win, then with a bit of good positioning and rng its almost guaranteed that they'd win.

I think a lot of good players could get top 5 or even top 2 but beating bughas performance is on a whole other level.

getting front side and looking back was very common place in comp fortnite at that time, it wasn,t something that just bugha was doing, it was a very well known strat that most comp players did and still do
  • @Juufv
He’s just bugha Nothing less, nothing more
  • @alexzander907
