  • Plo Koon also wore clone armor. I like the idea that the Jedi that loved and respected their clones, wore pieces of their armor.
  • I always loved how Kenobi wore Clone Armor over his Jedi robes. Such an iconic look for not only him, but other Jedi such as Plo Koon as well.

I remember Obi- Wan rocking the clone armor along with his speeder bike in the 2003 clone wars, badass indeed
  • @caseygray2328
Anakin/Vader being the most expensive single part of Rebels because of his need to dramatically enter scenes with his robe/cape flowing is just hilarious and fitting

Cody & Obi-Wan. Rex with Anakin & Ahsoka. Greatest friendships in the Clone Wars outside of Domino Squad.
  • Bro checked out the REVAN DRIP and was like "Nah, Impossible. Perhaps my wardrobe is incomplete" and got the clone trooper drip in his collection.

Strange how it was the armor that made the public view them as warriors, and not the fact that they were the generals of the army lol.
  • @AntiTheory
Obi-Wan and Anakin also shared in the comradery in other meaningful ways. They both commanded the clones from the front lines rather than the rear, and they would share the same sleeping quarters and foxholes with clone regulars during sieges. They valued their opinions and strategic insight when offered to them and respected them as individuals and not a tool of war. They were as much a part of their unit as they were their commanding officers.

Fun fact: obiwan even had a clone helmet at one point of the clone wars but lost it in battle against the famous bounty hunter Durge.

I love how Obi-Wan looks in his short appearance in Tales of the Jedi. I think it’s the first time we’ve seen him with his Jedi mullet while in clone armor since the 2003 micro series.

This is a common misconception in general with peacekeepers, etc. First, you can't keep peace that didn't exist to begin with. Second, you can't call yourself peacekeepers of the conflict is getting worse and your peacekeeping actions worthless. And third, if you're not willing to engage in combat and defeat those trying to destroy the peace and create conflict, then you're worthless as a peacekeeper. It's like being a police officer but refusing, or being too afraid, to enforce the law out of fear.
  • @GeekCultureWars
To show his love and appreciation for his clones. Something that was controversial amongst jedi
  • I think Kit Fisto once said that Jedi traditionally shunned armor because while it provides protection, it also numbs the senses, thus subtly interfering with their ability to channel the power of the Force.
  • @DMBLaan
"If you want Peace, you must prepare for War", it's a very cynical quote, but I believe there is some truth in it. The Grandmaster of the Order after the Battle of Ruson over corrected and is why they ultimately failed by the time of the Clone Wars. IMO, the Old Republic day's of the Jedi were the closet to the "best" form of the Jedi after the days of the formation on Tython, and perfected in the age of Luke.
  • @Gor85
This is very nice of Obi-Wan. Anakin,Ahsoka,Plo and many others. I really like this. Brotherhood and friendship.May the Force be with you too😊
  • @albertlamar5938
Interesting, as always. I took it as practical for Jedi like Anakin and Obi Wan who saw so much front line action. I like the added nuance. Thank you.
  • Kenobi looks so good with the armour!! He is my favorite along with his master. I think it is awesome because he is the master of defense and that he is also one of the jedi that showed that he cared for the his troopers and wanted to close that gap showing them that he was a soldier just like them.
  • @luckybynn5788
I assumed it was a sadder reason. I was thinking Aragorn with Boromir's bracers, which would also inspire camaraderie aplenty, I would imagine. Not only is he wearing armor like ours, he's wearing armor that belonged to others like us that he was friends with and carrying a piece of them through the war, being protected by his fallen comrades. Then he could retire the armor in a nice commemorative place after the war ended, probably somewhere the clone had off-handedly mentioned that they liked and wished they could have visited without the shadow of war hanging over it and omg I'm gonna make me cry at 8 in the morning with non-canon Star Wars events from my brain head 😭😭
