NEVER let them fade out details on Sky Crane - that's an amazing machine! We see them here in Chicagoland a lot too! LET JACK GEEK OUT from time to time LOL!
  • @RedTideRTS
First: The helicopter info piqued my inner nerd. Second: I think a video that summarizes the entire Starship program from inception until now would be awesome.
  • Thanks Dan 😂🍻. And thanks Jack and the NSF team for another excellent update.
  • @fritzbloedow29
yes, i did want to hear all about Sky Crane, love that machine, the fade to black hurt... I've mentioned before, but i wish you had the timestamp in a corner for ever slice of video, this is for the history books, people will go back and analyze this stuff one day. edit: Thanks Dan!

i want to hear more about the Skycrane!

Those sky cranes are wild. Used to work with them stacking towers. Problem is that if you’re sitting at the top of the tower and they fly you up something, as soon as you touch the tag line on the load you ground yourself to the helicopter, which generates a massive amount of static from the blades whipping through the air as it flies. It’s quite a jolt.

Always such great content. Jack's delivery, the scripting, editing and everything make this easily my favorite NSF production (they're all good). I loved the humor both with the skycrane and with Dan. BTW, Thanks Dan! P.S. Thanks Chris & the entire crew for such informative stuff.

Great video, thank you Jack for your multi hour recording sacrifice! You're a hero amongst mortals sir!
  • @CraigCholar
I, for one, have been subscribed to this channel for years solely for any mentions of Sikorsky Sky Crane helicopters.
  • @ottergod
Thanks Dan! And a great update from Jack and the rest of the NSF team, as always - this week in particular seemed to have so much to cover.
  • @hkpmedia4940
As a former flight crew on Sikorsky H-3 I loved hearing about the helicopter
  • A big shout-out to those spmt's and all the hard work they do. They are the unsung hero's at Space X
  • @lakeside67
Thanks, Dan! Oh, and that sky crane is very cool 😁
  • @NickCohn
Go into as much detail of the Sky Crane as you want 👍😉

Absolutely, would like to see a segment clearly illustrating the differences between the different types of engine tests. Guaranteed you’ll be able to refer back to it for a long time. -Dave Huntsman
